He's done. Let's draft another rookie with more potential. Maybe he can jumpstart his career elsewhere. I wish the best for him, but it's over here. Let's draft a big bruiser who can do the same thing. We don't need him anymore. Thanks, Marion! You were awesome. It's just time to go in another direction.

Why get rid of Barber, according to some people, like Gzus.... we don't see what Barber sees, we see the hole but in reality their was no hole their, so therefore it's not Barbers fault...I'm sure since Romo's not getting time to pass, that also means that Barber isn't getting holes to run through.....

I really think people want to get rid of him too quickly. A change in his number of carries, and when he gets them, would do wonders.

Jones and Choice seem to do fine. Time to go. Let's get a solid rookie in here.

He's home and unfortunately early has the time he needs to properly heal his injuries. He's going to be back in your good graces next season.

I really hope so. He needs to be a power running back that we paid him to be. This year was crap. Floping around like a stuck pig won't get it.

Have you ever had any type of knee problems and all the while have huge guys trying to tear your grape off?

Yeah it's that simple. Just cut him out of here, eat all that dead money cause of the big deal you gave him, and just draft someone else.

Well hell everyone should run an NFL franchise then since it's all that easy. I keep forgetting these NFL teams are playing with Monopoly money and not the real thing.

FB...seriously? This is the second mention of that today by someone and I'm wondering, seriously, if you guys understand how many 40 million dollar fullbacks there are in the league.

I'll give you a hint. It's less than 1.

He supposedly lost weight before the season to be "quicker" but unfortunately he looked slower and not as powerful as he used to be. Maybe he should work on getting some of that weight back for next season and be the real Barbarian again.

Wait until we know if he has been hurt first. If he was, then I put the blame on the coaches for playing a guy not 100% when you have two other very good options ready.

He doesn't have the instincts or vision of a great back. Most of his big runs are through gaping holes or plays called for the middle that got stuffed and he jumpstepped his way to the outside and beat the backside contain guy with those now banned stiffarms.

He isn't a very good player anymore. He doesn't have the speed to get to the outside and doesn't have the vision to run inside.

I hope there is some team out there willing to give us a mid-round pick and eat the rest of that contract. Otherwise, I'd just release him because he is dead weight here. He is the 3rd best RB but Garrett can't resist playing him which is to the detriment of the team.

That was the issue in the 1st place Jerry over paid because he panicked; the same thing with the Roy trade I was happy we traded for him (even though so far it is been a bust) but Jerry panicked and gave up more than he should have for him.

He should have just tendered Marion when he asked for 40 million he was never a 40 million back

That's funny because he had the same YPC as Peterson (with 100 less carries) and undoubtedly had more short yardage obvious running situations...

The same YPC avg as Steven Jackson with 110 less carries... and more TD's

Bottom line is that while I don't think he needs more carries in a game, I certainly don't think he's "hurting" the team as much as many think... I do think that we have transitioned from a "power" running team to a finesse running team, and that certainly doesn't benefit Barber at all... He still has great value to this team... if you can't see that you're blind.

Sure, he didn't have the kind of season he had in '07 this season... but in the two games he played before being injured he was virtually unstoppable... Go rewatch the week 2 game vs the Giants and tell me that before his injury he wasn't a force to be reckoned with...
