It's hard to imagine this didn't earn him at least a chance to prove himself more the last 2 years.

Now I understand why the Cowboys don't play Choice more, because the staff views him as the 3rd back period.

bobanddan Bob Sturm
@BryanBroaddus that was the only obvious conclusion it would seem.

BryanBroaddus Bryan Broaddus @bobanddan Jason Garrett spelled it out today He is the 3rd string back and that is how they view him. They feel Barber and Jones are better

We had heard Marion Barber might miss two weeks. Jason Garrett says Barber is "day-to-day" but acknowledges status vs. Colts in doubt.

Our staff is ignorant enough to send out a gimpy Barber over TC aren't they?

sums up the reason why we dont do good. We let sorry players continue to start look at the steelers. They will sub people out until they get it right. While we live and die by our decisions

We keep forgetting that a big part of Barber playing has to do with him being the best blocker out of the running back trio. Felix is adequate at best and Choice is not an effective or consistent blocker.

Choice is a better blocker than Felix. Blocking was the main reason they used to get Choice on the field as the third down back, while giving Barber rest and not using Felix because his blocking is suspect.

Choice played in a prostyle offense at Ga. Tech under Chan Gailey

Watching the PC right now (prompted by the Broaddus tweet), I get the idea that he might. He claims Barber's YPC is skewed low by so much "situational" running (short yardage and goal line).

Uh, sure.

He also was asked by Dennis if he sees Choice the same now as HC as he did as OC, and the answer was yes. That shouldn't surprise anyone, but you know there are still some people who claim he wasn't in total control of the offense.

This weekend for sure. Finally he will ball definitely. I say Barber is a gonoer after Choice shows his toughness, movement and ability Sunday. Im thinking over 100.

I hope he shows some blocking ability or we'll be playing McGee.

didnt we hear this crowd vs the giants the second game:rolleyes:
but your right the colts de scare me because they basically rush the passer every play if its a run or not. Be prepared for a good amount of draws.

Sorry I don't buy

into that. I was told that earlier in the season and believed it.

Then when I finally get to see Felix make some very good blocks and Barber whiff on a few, I finally realized that this is nothing more than a lie.

This organization should stop making these false claims. If they stop making these claims maybe Miles would have been the starter from his second year and we wouldn't have traded for Roy then.

This is the 3rd straight season Barber has come up with an injury later in the season that will probably hamper him the rest of the way. Unlikely he'll be back next season.

Nah Garrett will still have him out there limping with the first stringers....over Felix

If they dislike Choice so much where he can't run or block good enough than Barber then I am in favor of waiving him.

If we can't see that Barber is not a very good RB at this point, then I am losing confidence in Garrett and the assistants in terms of talent evaluation.

Offensive line put on a blocking clinic in that video. It's clear they've regressed big time, and even some of those whiffs by Gurode and Davis were pathetic.

Also, I suppose we'll find out if Choice really can get it done this weekend. I'm excited to see if he can prove a bunch of the armchair coaches here right. If he can, it's only better for the team.

Everyone on a messageboard is an armchair coach, lol. On that note I remember when we drafted Choice. My buddy who is a Florida State fanatic, but a college ball expert. I mean the man live and breathes it.He says to me," You guys got Choice?" I said "yea why?" He goes "dang you got a steal bro, this dude is a lil baller".
