Newy Scruggs of NBC 5 in Dallas-Ft. Worth is reporting that Marion Barber's quadriceps injury will keep him out of action for one to two weeks.

Last year Steven Jackson had a quad strain last year that the team initially called minor and he ended up missing 4 games.

He hurt it week 8 and tried to come back early for week 9 and ended up aggravating the injury to miss an additional 3 more weeks.

We have good depth at RB, let's use it. Make sure he's healthy before we bring him back.

I re-aggravated a quad injury to the extent of tearing the muscle. Barber should take it easy until he's 100%.

I think it's decent news considering he went down like he was shot. Man, quads are nothing to mess with for RB's. Best guess: he misses next 2 games minimum.
