Barham is 2nd in most defensive stops' by rookies this season

It's the scheme. They have no idea what to do with the LBs. Somehow Dee Winters has been a slug this season.

As an aside I saw Collins, Williams, and ODiggyziggy making plays in their games this week.

The Cowboys kill players.
is that the same Dee Winters who leads the team in tackles?

Here comes the ... should have drafted Rodriquez ... crowd ...
I wasn't one on draft day looking at him in the first round like some others, but the guy leads the entire NFL in tackles, so your pre-emptive strike here comes off a little weak. As we sit here today, those people you tried to call out were 100% correct
I think you missed his point. I'm sure after Brady started getting good, I would bet there was a crowd saying, "we should've drafted Brady." A lot of people do that, "we should've drafted ....." after already seeing how good they are.

I wonder the snap count for Rodriquez. Maimi is not a good team with a bad offense. I would bet he has more opportunities to make plays. Either way he's looking good. Both are. Glad for both of them.

I was joking. I guess I need to clarify that.

Can’t say definitely it’s a chronic problem at this point, but keep an eye on Barham’s effort level at times.

It’s unclear whether it’s lack of effort, or possibly conditioning. Either way, there are times it appears he’s not giving it his all.

Keep an eye on it.

good.
finally a michigan man playing here like he did at ann arbor.
can't say the same for te schoonmaker.

Yeah as a rookie im gonna wait...
Eh it’s less about his ability and more about the style of play.

OSA was a force his first few games as an aggressive gap shooter….until Denver took advantage of his over aggressive nature. Parsons was an all pro by neglecting responsibilities but teams like Philly completely exposed him early against read option plays.

It’s just a matter of taking the good with the bad. The flash plays also open up some of the chunk gains this defense gives up.

If we had a realistic chance of getting him it would have been a great pick.

The only chance would have been to give up the Barham pick.
He was taken at 43. Barham was 92

There was always a projected run on LBs in the first half of the second round and it played out just as the draftnicks expected

Between Lawrence at 23 and Barham at 93, there were five LBs taken.

So, if we wanted Rodriguez or Trotter, we would have had to take him at 23, which would have had people howling.

He looks like he's tired all the time.

I don't think he's a poor athlete and there are times in space where it doesn't look like he can move at all.

Both can be correct

Man I said it at the time people kept saying it was a weak draft but strong at linebacker. I felt we should've grabbed 2.
Should have gotten two for sure. LB has been a perennial problem position for this team over the last decade or so.

I think Barham is going to end up being a pretty good one when it's all said and done.

I do too. I was fine with Hill and Allen too. Of course Rodriguez. That was a huge blunder. But I do like Malachi.
