Well, I don't have time to properly reply to this, but I want to clear up that I would want Donald over Suh. I don't think anyone would want Donald over Suh, and I certainly wouldn't. But if we are strictly talking about fit for the Marinelli 43 3-tech DT... Donald is a more typical fit. That's what I was trying to say.

I would probably take Donald over the other DT's that you mentioned if they were all rookies, but I would take Suh over all of them including Donald because of the size, power, attitude, etc.. I just want to be clear about that.

I didn't mean to give the impression that I thought Donald is better than Suh, because I don't think that.

Ah, gotcha. Fair enough. Think we're on the same page about Donald, including the context you're basing your arguments around. Bottom line is you absolutely love him whereas I really, really like him, and we both want him to be a Cowboy.

Barr.

DEs are more expensive. The franchise tag for DE is about 13.5M but about 9M for DT.

Right now I consider DE and DT about equal in need but that could change if they sign a significant free agent.

Give me Barr over Donald all day, this DT class is fairly deep and someone like Easley or Sutton will be there in round 2.
Yep, that's the biggest issue. You can get another productive DT later...not so sure about another edge rusher.

Be shocked if either were there that late.
