Star, one thing to consider is the OP baiting negativity. there is nothing new or enlightening about this thread but the OP has been throwing a tantrum in many threads since Trey was traded here.

so predictably he’s been getting hammered by many here because he’s the first one to call out any criticism as negative. Channeling his inner “psychology 101” , he’s now starting useless threads praising Dak so his critics will respond and he can get the monkey off his back by calling THEM negative.

Nothing wrong with him doing it or others commenting on it , but it’s always entertaining to watch the psychology of the forum ebb out…….just this one mans opinion.

I absolutely hate to see some of them take the bait because it’s so obvious what is happening and I think it’s important to recognize that there are bad actors on both side…..but not many

I hope that we can at least agree that 90%+ here are truly wishing to see the Lombardi hoisted here. I don’t care who gets the credit.

I get sucked into ridiculous threads too and like I said, theres nothing wrong with that because I hold freedom of speech and opinion paramount here……the only thing I don’t like is insults being hurled when someone is just giving honest criticism. It’s not supposed to be tolerated…..but sadly it is.

All games have mistakes and momentum changes. Don't blame all of a team sport upon one single player. No, that doesn't open the door to go ahead multi-task blame...all on Jerry or Dak. That is really low class because it's a lie.

I have noticed no one has said this but maybe AC, Nav22, and Rockport but when Dak is healthy he one of the best passers of the football in the NFL. Now he does seem to get hit with the injury bug and he is getting older. It’s just sad that Dak fits into fans/media agenda when it comes to the Boys. I mean if he gets off to a hot start, his contract will become the talk of the media. If he starts slow then the Lance talk will pick up. The media loves Jerrah and the Cowboys.

The people you speak of are fringe....problem is we act like it's the majority and go on distracting crusades.

I know...in my heart....I want us to win. So I supported Zeke. I support Cooper rush and trey Lance and I want Dak to do well too. If I recognize flaws....like Zeke hold out.....it doesn't mean I want us to lose. Thems fighting words where I come from.

And hush up the haters. I think with the new offensive philosophy(Texas Coast Offense TCO), no routes where WR’s stop and wait, the offense will be better this year. Not as predictable. Last year defenses knew what plays Dallas was going to run. Several opposing players said as much. Shouldn’t be the case this year. Also, now we’ve got 3 excellent receivers (maybe 4 depending on Tolbert), Deuce, Pollard and what should be a better defense.

Of course as with any team injuries are key.

Should be a great year and Cowboys will be Super Bowl bound!

I know he's as concerned with hushing up the haters as you are, probably will make him play better than he ever has.

Dak's best season was his rookie year. That year the team had a strong run game and the pass game featured a lot of safety valve routes with Beasley.

From everything I am seeing, the team is going to go back in that direction. It might not get the raw points that it has had over the past few years but I think that the ball control and efficiency will improve, leading to a better team performance.

In this style of offense, his completion percentage could be higher than it has ever been.
