With all the defensive woes of this season. Barry Church is on the back end of the list of players I will criticize.

Lol people digging Church are funny. The guy has been a solid player for this team. He does his job and is a sure tackler and creates TO's. When was the last time we had a safety that actually did his job and forced TO?

How anybody can watch this team's defense and conclude that we have acceptable safety play at even one of the positions is completely beyond me.

Thats because you dont know much about football. Seriously. Im not trying to be ugly but you probably just dont understand the game. Its not a big deal and it doesnt mean you dont have the right to express you opinion.
Church is a fine safety.

Let me tell you what I know about Church: He's a good tackler. I can't tell you much else.

He is a darn good football player , I'm glad we have him on our team . We need to put a good coverage safety and I feel good about our safeties .

Take off the blinders. Like I said in preseason the LB have been a problem because they are not getting deep enough in their zone drops. But go ahead and blame Church. Best safety we've had in years. He's a sure tackler and dependable and he's been playing with 2 rookies. Try putting things in context instead of being rude

I think he is a terrible FS. He is out of position and needs to be a in the box SS or the WOLB. He isn't big enough to play the SAM and get off blocks.

this Church isn't great but he is good and we need a great cover safety that would allow Church to stay low.
Jarius Byrd would be a perfect fit

I don't like the "FS" label as he seems to play more in the box as a "SS" and I'm pretty sure I read some where that the safeties on this defense are interchangeable. It's not just INTs let's ignore all the forced fumbles as they mean nothing. This defense does not play to his strengths and he is still playing solid football

he has one int and 3 FFs. Thats not breaking the bank and does nto make him a great safety.
Church is a average good starting safety who needs a great cover safety next to him

LBs are really good at FFs also, another reason why I would love to have Church at WOLB in this scheme

correct but thats his position on the depth chart, maybe thats why we get burnt so much.

Church still terrible in coverage. he is in the box and ho many times do WRs catch the ball acros the middle. Church has so many tackle because he is always running behind his guy thats catches the ball. Sorry but I'm not a Church fan.
