That’s essentially every position though. Especially when you are signing a free agent that guy is essentially at the end of the road. You just gotta take the losses. You can’t escape Father Time. If you win a ring do you really care about overpaying or a guy only having one good year left?
Well for example they clearly paid Zeke way too early, vs henry who was playing better at the end than when he started. Sad thing is henry is cheap, he certainly deserved another contract but they all don't you just have to look at each as individual situations.

Zeke got ran into the ground so much I assumed they wouldn’t -sign him. That’s how they were running him. In comparison Henry shared the field with Demarco.

That "private" conversation also got leaked. It's still a good lesson on being careful what you put in writing and who is around when you want to have a private conversation.
Jiminy Christmas!
He called a man "Michelin Lips". Nothing different than a schoolyard name-calling banter, like rubber lips. Also, he called Roger "the G-word". Unfortunately, Roger's bro happens to be (G-word) so Rog took it personally.

There were over 600 emails discovered. I'd be far more curious to see what others may have said about anything.

They withheld the contents, while reporting it, for weeks.
That had everyone riled up and ready to read something truly bad. They got grade-school name-calling instead of divise "r-word" language but it was too late. They'd already stirred up the Mob.

To be fair, we don’t have the cap $$$.

we just don’t.
Maybe Parsifal should be fired. He is the Director of the Salary Cap and Player Contracts.

How do you go from Equipment Manager to to Director of the Salary Cap???

Jerry is some kind of genius.

Prasifka has been with the Cowboys for 21 years. He also negotiates player contracts and monitors league transactions. Before working for the Cowboys, Prasifka was an equipment manager and coaching assistant at the University of Arkansas. He also interned at Cromwell Architects and Engineers and DuPont.
