Based off this season's results we had the 3rd easiest schedule

I see reality with numbers like this schedule strength, I see the numbers about Dak’s pass defense opponents, and it does make me worry that we are overrating the team.

I’m reading posts today on people talking about how deep we are in positions that we are obviously not deep, or thinking we had a great draft this year and it reminds me how much we continue to buy the hype and overrate this team.

So yeah, we could be heading for the same ending again but hopefully not. Hopefully it’s a different year. Only so many of these Playoff tank jobs that a soul can take.

Atlanta .429
New Orleans .433
Dallas .446

And our Strength of victory is 3rd worst of any playoff team at .392

Is this concerning?
I don't know what you mean by "concerning." It certainly means something, and you should take it into account when projecting what the team will do. They're not as good as their league-leading point differential would suggest on the surface, that's true.

When you properly take it into account, the Cowboys still come out looking like the pretty clear 2nd-best team in the conference. But they're not head and shoulders ahead of the other teams: they're a little better, which means the chances of winning are probably only in the 60-65% range or so. And if you have two 60-65% matchups in a row, you only expect to win them both and get to the championship game 36-42% of the time.

The concerning part is that SF is so clearly better.

Any time I see the word "easiest" associated with NFL football, I am perplexed. It's like, what is the easiest way to climb Mount Rushmore.

The Dallas Cowboys played 17 games against other NFL teams, every one of them loaded with the best college football talent available. The "worse" NFL team could destroy the current NCAA college football champions. The Cowboys won 12 of those games.

The difference between the best offense and the worse offense in the NFL this season was 16 points and 136 yards a game. Every other team has a smaller difference.

The average difference in between a team's offense and the one next to it is a half point and 4 yards per game.

There is no such thing as easy in the NFL

Well, don't be shocked folks.
  • That's all I'm saying

Dallas does not make their schedule, it more or less is pre-determined except a handful of games that are based on where they finished last year. They finished 2nd in the NFC East so outside of their 6 NFCE games, 4 AFCE games, 4 NFCW games, there were 3 games. So they got a rebuilding Panthers, an underachieving Chargers, and the Lions

No concern. The records will say 12-5, with two home play-off games (where we are what 16-0). Most have given the pre-season expectation of a Conference game, if we achieve that then we've had a successful season.

No it's not concerning we played who was on our schedule we had no choice we came out of it 12-5
With a couple home games.

The strength of schedule is nothing but crap the strength of teams change from week to week depending on injuries
Locker room mentality and a bunch of other factors..

While the 49ers were on their three game losing streak the eagles looked like the most dominant team in our conference.
Now they look like the worst if I was their fans I'd be concerned they ended the season on a very bad note we finished pretty strong.
The officiating can change everything in a moment's notice especially in the playoffs you can't count on any strength of any schedule to predict how teams are going to play in the playoffs.

Do the Packers really scare anybody no matter how strong their schedule was I don't think so

Our fans search deep in the dregs of stats to crap on their own team. But they call themselves realists when in fact they’re just normally negative people.
No its reality smart ***. Look at who we beat and who we lost to. We likeky beat green bay then **** the bed next game. Watch

I think I'd be concerned if I was a Packers fan that my team played the majority of the season under 500 and only finished one game over 500
The record looks about the same as a Garrett team.

That's great. We've had some brutal schedules in the near past and it will be that way next year.

Philthy, Washington and NYG x2.
AFC North - Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincy and Sh!ttsburgh. (Each of these teams had winning records this season.) Strongest Division.
NFC South - Tampa Bay, New Orleans, ATL and Carolina. (Thank the heavens we play the weakest division too!)
Division Winners - Whiners, Detroit and Texans!

Should be fun! Can't wait! Go Cowboys!!

I’m concerned about winning in the playoffs because we haven’t had much success in the playoffs for 28 years.

As far as the posts and stats about how we played weak teams or Dak can’t beat good defenses, my answer to that is we will know more in a month. Is Dallas a weak team that beats up on bad teams. We’ll know in a month. Is Dak’s numbers are what they are because we played against weak defenses. Well no more in a month.

The biggest stat I’m concerned about is 28 years of disappointing playoffs.

Right now everyone is 0-0 and all the teams are good. Let’s go show them who we are, one way or another.

That's because Philadelphia (the best team in football) collapsed. If we collapsed, it collapses Eagles strength of schedule.

We played SF, Buff, Mia, Seattle, Detroit, LA, Phil 2x. Toughest schedule I remember.
We beat LA, Detroit and Philly, 3 playoff teams.

Philadelphia or the NY Giants were supposed to win the division, they collapsed and we helped them.

We did not.

Well how do you explain that other winning teams have higher SOV? Do you not understand that they also lower their opponents winning percentage but those opponents tend to go on to beat other teams while ours don't?
Do you not understand that we are talking about the COWBOYS!
Why are you trying to dimish what they did?
