welcome to "the zone" BDF5.

first make sure you have the smilies "enabled". the option should be at the bottom left of the page you are currently viewing.

once they are enabled, anytime you click "new thread" or "reply" buttons, you should notice a menu of them to the right of the white letterbox in which you type your script. notice the "more" button bottom-left. this site has smilies out the wazoo.
