I told him his team would lose their last 4 games, including the Texas Bowl to a poor Big-10 team. I guessed Northwestern at the time but Illinois is just as bad. :laugh2:

:laugh2: Baylor really did regress towards the last month of the season. I still like the Griffin kid but he's really going to need to have a great offseason developing as a QB..he's still very raw. That defense though...talk about horrible! And this was with a safety and DT that could play in the NFL. They really need to fix that if they don't want to get back to the bottom of the new Big 12 next year

Considering how bad Baylor has been for so long just making it to a Bowl game is a step in the right direction for that program.

What was Baylor supposed to do though? Game was already over, Illinois's previous plays were all running plays to eat up the clock. They could have taken the knee and finished up the game.

I didn't really care - I thought it was pretty funny either way. But I can see why Briles and those in the "sportsmanship" camp would be upset.
