I get s different DM like that every day from someone who follows me, then DMs me. The profile pic is always a hot chick but I suspect there are all male scam artists. I just block them and delete the DMS without responding. Notice they follow 4000 people but only have 28 followers?

I tend to avoid most social media for a myriad of reasons. Twitter particularly became a crap-show after Elon bought it which is a shame as I used to occasionally logon to get updates from people who practice similar hobbies as mine.

It's gotten way better since Elon bought it. They allow free speech now.
They no longer bury news they don't want exposed. I wouldn't even have X if Elon didn't own it.

X now operates as it was originally intended….a free speech platform.

It is no longer a biased echo chamber.

Twitter/X has been and will always be free speech as long as the people running it like the speech and that includes Elon owning it now.

At the end of the day someone runs it, pays the bills and decides the rules whether you or I like it.

I use it for college sports and NFL stuff, esp around draft time.

Just had an odd experience on Twitter. Someone posing as Claire Wolford, a Cowboys cheerleader, was in my dms following a tweet I posted involving Dak. At first, she sent me a picture of her, which didn't exactly match up with what Claire Wolford looks like. Secondly, the conversation was as weird as those posing as furries offering art commissions. I figured out quickly it wasn't the real Claire Wolford. So yeah, just a PSA, be on the lookout for a Twitter scam involving people posing as Cowboys cheerleaders.
