I'd rather be "sick" about what happened in the past than be sick about what's happening in the present.

The Commanders faithful are gonna be really sick watching Glenn and Owens abuse the Commanders secondary all night long......

:puke:

Mike Rumph, should be spelled ROTFL.........

:laugh2:

Make sure to come back Monday, ya hear!

Please, please tell me that guy wasn't serious.

he must have been serious..... here's his next point....:lmao2:

I'm just saying, in this league of parity you have to use mental strategy to make the playoffs.

If we had beaten Minnesota, the Cowboys would have had all the mental variables working in their favor on their home turf.

Now we are just as desperate as they are for that win, and if we even up at 1-1 we will be in better shape then we would have been by beating Minnesota and then losing to Dallas.

here's a little more........ this guy is nuts!!!!!:lmao2:

I think that Gibbs' goal was to win a close one...we could have put Minnesota away but I think he told the players the win needed to be close so Dallas would underestimate us again this year and not have the mental edge at home.

The strategy obviously backfired though, because Minnesota was tougher then expected. Still though, we could have won by at least 14 if we wanted. :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Al Michaels:

"Of course, Washington came back to stun a dubious Dallas team last year when Mark Brunell threw two deep touchdown passes to Santana Moss in the final minutes of the game. Brunell, of course, is a lefty like Steve Young. Speaking of San Francisco, the Commanders' shocking last-minute pass plays were somewhat reminiscent of "The Catch," when Joe Montana found Dwight Clark in the back of the end zone in the 1982 NFC Championship game."

Don't forget that Al Michaels will mention the "questionable" TD catch by Keyshawn 2 years ago on MNF against the Seahawks. :banghead: :laugh1:

Don't worry about the RedStinks. And this stupid/typical RedStink fan that thinks losing to Minny is part of the "Master Plan" is forgetting one thing!

He forgot that the Native American Indians put a "curse" on their team!

I'll tell you, Philly fans are disgraceful, but, RedStink fans are downright stupid! With a capital "S"...

Check this out!! Got it from ES...... talk about stupid!:lmao2:

As I was driving to work this morning, I thought that there is a good chance Gibbs told some of his key players that we don't want to lay it all on the line for Minnesota, and if we win that would be great but we don't want to look dominant at this point in the season.

Why? We have the Cowboys at Dallas this week, a tough win by any standards. The genius of losing to Minnesota is that the Cowboys and the rest of the league underestimates us, and we are the decided underdogs. While losing to Minnesota hurts temporarily, in the long run its the divisional games that are much more important to win. This could all very well be part of the Master Plan.

all I can say is :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

So...what he is saying is Gibbs is spending Little Danny's money just to fake out the Cowboys?

sometimes I wonder if some skins fans would be happy if we go 2-14, getting our wins only from sweeping the cowboys...

Good one... How about:

"The Cowboys this year decided to sign ex-49er Terrell Owens, who apprenticed under the greatest wide receiver who ever lived -- the incomparable Jerry Rice -- which meant they had to release Keyshawn Johnson, who of course made that dubious touchdown catch where he only got one foot down against Seattle a couple of years ago."

God that is perfect. I mean really, how many times did he mention it last year? Enough already, we realize you don't like us. I like Michaels as an announcer but you can clearly tell he doesn't like us. I think Michaels has a great voice for the game but boy is he annoying sometimes...

I hate ES, bunch of dumb wannabe Skins fans. Basically anyone who goes to the official Skins site is a member of ES, and they really are stupid. I stick to a smaller Skins forum, most of us know the big posters, and most people are not ********. Moves a bit slower, but the people are much smarter.

I was going to try to work that in, but didn't ...

I think Al used the word "dubious" 10 times over the past year or so to describe Keyshawn's touchdown.

The funny thing is, I was actually comforted by the only win in 1989's 1-15 season being against the Commanders. I guess if you have to have a (*&^% season, at least make whatever win you get count!
