We beat the Steelers because they still had Fields at QB. Same with the Browns having Watson at Qb. Two wins gifted to us
Agreed. Three of the teams we beat no longer start that QB. But I'm talking about Dak making a game winning drive. That never happens.

so when he makes a come back...its because the other team messed, not because he played well!?
ooookkk then
He doesn't make comebacks. Ever. He chokes every time. He made it against Pittsburgh, but only because they dropped a pick. Or else that would go down with the rest of the failures. Dak chokes under pressure.

Well you would be wrong factually.

And you conflicted yourself in your own response. First you said he doesn't make a comeback...EVER. then you said he made it against Pittsburgh.

And like I said you are blaming the other team for losing as opposed to him winning it. Which is what I said you do not giving him credit and you just double confirmed.

I mean it's not like other QBs don't make bad throws and/or the defense drops the ball...only Dak makes bad throws and almost interceptions. Only Dak.

The big difference this season is Eberflus lost the locker room. I live in Chicago and the rumor was he had to leave the locker room because the players were ferocious after the Detroit game. It has been building in Chicago over the course of the last month. I’m not making an argument that MM stays but players seem to enjoy playing for him and still play hard for him, just not talented.

You beat me to it............apples and oranges
Eberflus lost his locker room big-time, and team captains were turning him. Players are still playing hard for MM. They know Jerry put him in a no-win situation.

When the pressure is on, and we need a drive to win, he can't do it. I said he did it against Pittsburgh, but only because the defender dropped the easy pick. Or else that games ends as usual. We don't do well on two minute drives.

So it was the defender that gifted the Cowboys because Dak never makes a comeback back...EVER. it's always the opposing defense screwing up and gifting him. Right?

You are factually wrong

If the bears had gone 41-22 the last 3.5 years he’d have a shrine….not exactly apples to apples

Jerry is just killing time til the end of the season and then Mike is gone because 8- 9 is our best case scenario.
Betting on 7-10 Possibly 6-11
no matter what, MM is toast.

THE PROBLEM is Jerry Jones. Why? He is the ONLY ONLY ONLY ONLY constant for the 30 year drought of not even getting to a NFC Conference game. Not winning the game, just getting there. And YES, Big Mike is a small part of the problem. He runs very predictable offensive plays. And let's not get started about his clock mgmt, which was a big problem in Green Bay. That was a big reason why he was fired from the Packers because his clock mgmt many problems
Jerry is the only constant during the 90's when the Cowboys were winning Super Bowls as well. Jimmy Johnson was gone when the Cowboys beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl. So, by your reasoning, Jerry is also not the problem. Of course, this whole thread is nonsense because no one factor is to blame for the 30-year drought that the Cowboys have experienced. This season's problems can most be attributed to the injury bug.

MM has not been great in those clock management situations, but come on, man. Nothing compares to what the Bears did in the last minute of that game. That was inexcusable, the worst mistake I think I have ever seen in the NFL.

The clock management vs the Lions was squarely on Caleb Williams. They were saving the TO for the fg kick and there was no urgency (wasted 30+ sec) from Williams.
Yes both qb and coach, and basically whole offense, just ignored the game clock lol.
there was no urgency to snap the ball or do a spike.

No one would consider Dak captain comeback. No one. Just the opposite. You want to find 2-3 games in 8 years to prove I'm exaggerating, that's fine.

Ok now you are obviously moving the goal post.

I never said he was captain come back....read my comments.

On the contrary you said he has never had a come back win EVER. Which you emphasized multiple times..Which is factually wrong.

Losing that...you are now trying to change the argument with throwing in a "captain come back" comment.

You are exaggerating.

Now tell me who is actually captain come back? What constitutes a captain come back? You don't even know.

Mahomes......

??? Who else...

I can see the Bears hiring MM next year. He knows the division and has a reputation for developing QBs.

So the Chicago Bears for the 1st time in their 100 year history, fired their head coach Matt Eberflus.
Bear blew a game, on a Hail Mary ( made famous by our legendary Roger Staubach) @ Washington and weeks later fought back, on Turkey Day, but lost
to their rivals Lions. Bears clock mgmt, at the end, was the final straw for the Bear owners. Bears record sits at 4-8

Turning to the circus ( aka: Jerry's Toy), the Cowboys sit at 5-7 after now a 2 game winning streak. But prior, Big Mike has had his own clock mgmt issues
Not in just one game but also playoff games. Dallas finally recorded their 1st home win, vs NYG after 5 straight home butt kicking. Team has the 31st ranking withing the red zone, can't stop the run and is also 2nd to last running the ball BUT unlike the Bears, Jerry instills hope in the starving Cowboys fan base that has not seen a
NFC Conference game within a generation ( ie: 30 years) The hunger has fellow Dallas fans again shopping for a wildcard birth. These fans are buying the pyrite that Jerry has at ProShops and Walmart across America.

Bears, with the legendary Walter Payton, has done little to nothing since the Superbowl Shuffle season. The Cowboys, with The Triplets, has done alittle more regarding visiting the playoffs, but the Bears have been to (2) NFC Conference games this century, 2006 where the Bears went to the Superbowl ( lost to the Colts) and in 2010.

Bears had courage to let go of their coach after a 2nd embarrassment, while Jerry keeps selling FOOLS GOLD with Big Mike
Why would Jerry fire the coach he is going to extend at the end of the season???
