I can't believe so many people think McCarthy is the one factor holding us back from greatness. Especially this year with so many injuries.
Jerry's going to use Injuries as an excuse. This team was bad before the injuries started piling up. Just another wasted season with more false hope for next year.

So the Chicago Bears for the 1st time in their 100 year history, fired their head coach Matt Eberflus.
Bear blew a game, on a Hail Mary ( made famous by our legendary Roger Staubach) @ Washington and weeks later fought back, on Turkey Day, but lost
to their rivals Lions. Bears clock mgmt, at the end, was the final straw for the Bear owners. Bears record sits at 4-8

Turning to the circus ( aka: Jerry's Toy), the Cowboys sit at 5-7 after now a 2 game winning streak. But prior, Big Mike has had his own clock mgmt issues
Not in just one game but also playoff games. Dallas finally recorded their 1st home win, vs NYG after 5 straight home butt kicking. Team has the 31st ranking withing the red zone, can't stop the run and is also 2nd to last running the ball BUT unlike the Bears, Jerry instills hope in the starving Cowboys fan base that has not seen a
NFC Conference game within a generation ( ie: 30 years) The hunger has fellow Dallas fans again shopping for a wildcard birth. These fans are buying the pyrite that Jerry has at ProShops and Walmart across America.

Bears, with the legendary Walter Payton, has done little to nothing since the Superbowl Shuffle season. The Cowboys, with The Triplets, has done alittle more regarding visiting the playoffs, but the Bears have been to (2) NFC Conference games this century, 2006 where the Bears went to the Superbowl ( lost to the Colts) and in 2010.

Bears had courage to let go of their coach after a 2nd embarrassment, while Jerry keeps selling FOOLS GOLD with Big Mike
The Bears suck.

About a million QBs.
Ok now you are obviously moving the goal post.

I never said he was captain come back....read my comments.

On the contrary you said he has never had a come back win EVER. Which you emphasized multiple times..Which is factually wrong.

Losing that...you are now trying to change the argument with throwing in a "captain come back" comment.

You are exaggerating.

Now tell me who is actually captain come back? What constitutes a captain come back? You don't even know.

Mahomes......

??? Who else...
Romo made a ton of comebacks. If you give Dak the ball with 2 minutes left and say, drive us down the field. It isn't going to happen. How many times has he done that? 3 times in 8 years? The guy chokes in those situations. He even failed twice in one game!!! Against the Eagles a few years ago. Failed in the final drive. Got stupid lucky to get the ball back and failed from the 6 yard line. Typical Dak. He's good when we have a big lead, and he's good when the game is already over.

so I am going to use what you Dak Hater Cult do, and with all the wins and with all the Romo boot licking, he couldn't get us past the first round of playoffs...AWSOME..

you go look at the stats yourself....

The clock management vs the Lions was squarely on Caleb Williams. They were saving the TO for the fg kick and there was no urgency (wasted 30+ sec) from Williams.
Agree completely. How can you go forward with that guy after that. Clearly he has no clue what he is doing. Sometimes the player should get a break but that was unreal.

The biggest issue with the team is not MM; he is fine—not great, not bad, and definitely not Eberflus's bad.

IT'S JERRY JONES!!!!!

I'm not talking about any 4th quarter comeback. You guys will do anything with stats to paint a picture of what never happened. I'm talking about do or die drives. Dak simply does not do them. Score now or lose the game.

I think I've seen twice as many people start threads talking about fans having some renewed hope for playoffs or something than actual people expressing that kind of excitement.
Most of us have been talking about players and their development. I don’t think anyone really believes there is a playoff push. Maybe a couple like you said, but it’s been very mild.

Cowboys are twelve games into the season. Firing McCarthy now will accomplish zilch unless you’re a fan of the tank - like me.

Last January would have been ideal.

I’m kinda surprised McCarthy hasn’t lost the team yet. I’m even entertaining thoughts of keeping him around if he’s willing to turn over play calling to a younger more innovative mind as OC.

Eberflus is 14-32 with the Bears. McCarthy is not. It’s completely different.

so what are you talking about!!!! you are spinning yourself into a dizzy....

what you said, is simply and factually not true.

this doesn't mean I am saying Dak is a great QB or a good QB...no..

just that you live in such absolute extremes of these kind of stats that you tend to confuse yourself. I mean in your previous comments you said he cam back against pittsburgh and he has never made a come back in the same comment!!!

Yes, I was talking about situations like the Pittsburgh game. He usually fails in those situations. He didn't fail against Pitt, but partially because he was bailed out. Actually, it was a talking head that brought that to my attention. I was just happy he finally did it.
