I've done my best to wipe those years from my memory... What were we thinking....

The funny part was I believe we traded Weeden towards the end of the year to the Texans - they basically needed an emergency starter - and he started the week they got him, and he actually won the game and even looked decent throwing the ball.
That just screams "putting your players in position to succeed"

Trubisky really reminds me of Douglass: athletic, strong arm, can't play QB. Bobby was more aggressive, though. Rushed for over 900 yards in 1972.

Scarbrough is a better runner than Pollard. He has run hard when given the chance. Pollard catches the ball better.

This is a 3rd string QB in his first action and he's doing pretty good - now think back to when we had Weeden and Matt Castle play a few games - they were horrible - yes sir folks coaching matters.

So do players. What have they done since? And Dak was a third string QB when we started him too.

detroit pulled a garrett , with their record I would go for that 4th down.
Also on the 3rd and short it should have been scarborough and a power run, or qb sneak.
