The Cowboys should win based on helmet alone, but I will admit I am biased.

I've never understood why the Raider's uniforms are so well received. I'm a big fan of simplicity, but the home unis are just so drab. Black can be menacing, but for some reason it just looks really torrid on Oakland-- probably because of the dull gray numbers and lettering. All in all, nothing on the uniform really, 'pops' and doesn't even come off as solid (the away uniforms look REALLY anemic). They just look completely lifeless.

I mean, a more Odessa Permian look (Friday Night Lights for you non-Texans) looks much better, and that's just black and white.

Our 'Road blues' are very similar, but look 10x better simply because of the slight color scheme change and the outlining around the numbers.

Panthers, Falcons, and Bengals in the bottom three? I think all three have awesome unis. Stupid list as this is all preference.

What's with the hate for the Bengals unis? Outside of our helmet, I think they have the second best helmet. And I like the overall look even if it can get a little costume-y. Definitely not the 31st worst

The Packers and Bears have 2 of the worst possible color combinations; orange and blue? yellow and green? They might be "classics" but in only the sense of classically bad taste.

Why are the Cowboys pants green?

I think it had something to do with color TVs at the time. The green came out a different color (silver?) on the old color TV, and they haven't changed. I'm going by memory, so I might be wrong on that.

a few things:

1. the aricle must be referring to away jerseys only.

2. there is no jersey in the league that is better than our away jerseys.

3. the bills jerseys look like they belong in the cfl. (this is actually appropriate.)

4. cincy's uniforms are arena league bad.

5. seattle's redesign made a marginal uniform much worse.

I thought the article was about the entire uniform, socks and all. I was never fascinated with the Bears uniform. It's OK. I love the Cowboys classic look, "green" pants and all. If they change it back to the silver blue pants of yore that would be great. What I don't want to see is dull silver or grey pants. We're not the Lions. Let's keep our uniqueness.
