No major issues with that but assuming you interview 1 guy per day they really don't have any need to rush on Mike was all I was pointing to.Bears are being thorough as they should. As we should as well.
long time nfc central guy so makes sense tbh.Honestly, I think Mike has a real shot from I'm hearing/reading. The Bears job has a couple of layers of management between GM Poles and Pres Kevin Warren. They both need to get this right coz it could be their last shot at hiring a HC.
But they can only interview Johnson, Aaron and guys still in playoffs after the divisional round via zoom, so why wouldnt you want to do your homework on someone you can have access to now? The fact he is even being mentioned and considered is what it is , when you have a team that has struggled with coaching and they are trying to find the right coach and jump on it while others like us wait, makes sense. They seem to understand the the urgency at hand and what to make sure they get it right. Who cares about how many shots you take, they need to get it right. No major issues with that but assuming you interview 1 guy per day they really don't have any need to rush on Mike was all I was pointing to.
I am also not sure I wanna look like a freshman kid out shooting your shot at everyone. If you like everyone that interest sure doesn't feel very special.
Ha ha!! Brilliant!!While some folks are debating the current unnecessary melodrama...
Mike McCarthy's first priority would be shoring up the offensive line. Caleb Williams was sacked almost 70 times in his rookie season. No Bears head coach will have him to mold if he is David Carr-ed into seeing ghosts after two or three seasons of that kind of punishment. If I am big Mike and the money is good enough I would be saying yes. Ton of cap space, young QB to mold. Lots of good wide outs and a good tight end. Need a good running back and some additional corner backs. He would also get at least a few years to turn it around. Seems like a no trainer to leave.
Agree, but he holds the ball way too long. Half the sacks are on him. That can be coached.Mike McCarthy's first priority would be shoring up the offensive line. I agree but what is going to change really. Could a one year wonder coach overcome the baffoon that Jerry and Stephen are. I don'tYes please
I mostly agree but would estimate a fourth of the sacks were Williams' fault from what I observed. Just my personal opinion, though.Agree, but he holds the ball way too long. Half the sacks are on him. That can be coached.
you scared me. Every time I see the word fourth, I think Jerry may have traded a future fourth rounder for someone's #6 receiverI mostly agree but would estimate a fourth of the sacks were Williams' fault from what I observed. Just my personal opinion, though.
I ask for your forgiveness then.you scared me. Every time I see the word fourth, I think Jerry may have traded a future fourth rounder for someone's #6 receiver
Jeez, Caleb Williams vs. Dak Prescott - such a tough choice.Mike take it. They are a mess too but they have talent.
That’s not even the choice….Caleb is bad right now but they have instead of Cooks and Tolbert they have Odunze and Keenan Allen. Instead of Rico they have Swift. No brainer.Jeez, Caleb Williams vs. Dak Prescott - such a tough choice.
