Twitter: Beasley apologizes to fans

I guess it is just impossible for anyone to ever lose their job.

I know you're schtick and all, but the week after we benched the QB and the LG and threatened to bench the starting RB is probably not the best time to be trying this particular argument. Better to throw chum in some other water right now. There are plenty of options to choose from.

Still can't believe that play !!!

Seriously? We absolutely could've driven down the field because we did it twice. Moved the ball pretty well in the second half, but ******* Cassel missed Darren on a check down and instead threw to the biggest non threat on the field.

The Giants defense is garbage. They have one decent player in DRC and our moron of a quarterback was targeting him instead of the other scrubs.

Well we will never know what might have happened, might have scored, maybe not. Coles muff prevented the chance to see what
might have happened.

I just have one question. What is Bisacci here for? Where is the value add with him coaching STs? Parcells or JJ might have fired his butt after this game. I realize it will never happen but I would love to see Garrett do such a thing.

Beasely was moving and wasnt set to catch the punt, parcells coached you have to be set to catch it.
Also you dont reach for the ball.
Just another example of poor coaching.

Perhaps he was told not to do that by Bisaccia, but he wasn't scared enough not to do it. IMO, this is the problem with this whole organization.

We need to start a GROB campaign.

Beasley is giving us nothing. Without Dez dude is basically useless. I like the guy, but I'd love for the Cowboys to get a better all around slot reciever to take his place who doesn't need Dez to shift coverage away from him to be able to make plays.

Without Dez everything we do is basically worthless.. Barring the run game last week.. He has been the key to our offensive demise mostly.

The guy feels horrible.....make it up to us next game. You could tell he felt terrible after the screw up

RB's, WR's don't lose their jobs over a fumble. QB's don't lose their job over a INT. It happens but generally you have to live with errors like that.

RBs and WRs and QBs have a larger body of work hence a greater tolerance for error.

A punt returner who fumbles should lose their role unless they provide some other utility.

I used to appreciate the security for Beasley, but given this and no playmaking ability, sorry the charm is gone.

This...seriously. I have strongly supported Beasley for the attitude and toughness he has displayed on the field given the his size disadvantage, but dropping that punt in such a comical fashion as he did is just inexcusable. He might as well be returning punts for some obscure junior varsity football team given the contributions he's made to the st's unit.

I respect him for his apology. It is much more than all the other players that have played horrible this year and didn't feel the need to to let the fans know that they cared about screwing up.

Beasley is only there to not _ up. Unlike a normal returner, there is no upside to him, just downside avoidance. He failed at that ........during the most critical time, and consequently, should lose his job, full stop.

He took his eyes off the ball, to look down field, that is amateur, and also tried to catch it with his hands, which no one does on a punt.
That is why no way he should be fielding punts, Also he is too small and not fast enough.

So it is on coaching too.
That cost us a chance to tie game up, but the biggest mistake was the harris return for a td.

He wasn't looking down field. He was still looking up. I distinctly remember that from the replay. Why? Who knows.
