I love what he brings in the slot, but man, talk about an absolute zero threat as a returner. I shouldnt happy if he catches it clean and doesnt fumble on his 4 yard return.

He.s way to hesitant and dances around too much. Can TWill return? I know he.s the number 1 now, but still

We have been keeping Lucky active, mighgt as well give him a shot. I have wondered about Byron Jones as well.

I think he actually may have saved us in both games. The blocking crew seems to be doing everything they can to make the returner muff the ball. If that was Whitehead or someone else not sure if those wouldn't be muffs.

I don't really know what is going on with our punt return team, but I hope the coaches will just tell everyone to stay away from Beasley and let him just fair catch it until we get it worked out.

I'm just glad he cleanly fields the punt. I would love a dynamic returner, but not at the expense of added turnover risk.

Just fair catch that ****. We have the best offensive line in the game. If we can't start on the 10 and at least get a field goal, then we're doing something wrong.

With a question mark at QB, I doubt they now think about giving a guy with a history of dropping the ball a chance. Could be playing a lot of field position games in the next few weeks. Also, I was thinking the same thing before Romo went down.

He doesn't appear to be much of a threat, and appears downright awkward at times, but perhaps avoiding a cataclysmic mistake is all the team is hoping for at this point just as you suggest.

If th choice were mine, I'd release Whitehead immediately and put him on the practice squad until he learns how to be a pro. And then I'd sign a capable WR/KR to fill that spot. Austin Pettis has done it for the Rams and they worked him out last week. When they did, I thought we might see Lucky cut and Pettis signed as part of a two-fer at the position.

I don't think he's not a threat as a punt returner, just that the conditions have to be just right for him to break one. He doesn't read the special teams coverage well enough to immediately know where he needs to go to make the most of the return.

I think we need to stick Lucky back there because that's the part he understands, but I acknowledge that the hesitation is because Dallas doesn't want to run the risk of fumbling.
