Losing streaks bring out the worst in everyone.
I don't like the way the players are channeling their frustration, but I'm glad losing gets to them.

How long before Cowboys players start posting in the game day threads?
Is that you Escobar?
Oh yeah I completely agree the media is full of idiot drama queens, absolutely. But professional players, IMO, should hold them self to a higher standards, they are falling into the media trap and doing exactly what the media wants when they do things like this. Got to be smarter, got to act smarter.
Absofrickinglutely. There is no accountability in the media anymore. But at some point, players just have to shut the hell up and play ball. I defended Dez last week in the face of the JJT locker room crap. He promptly went out, made himself look really silly and proved everything JJT et all had been saying.

Out of all that, the part that concerns me most is that a professional print journalist doesn't know how to spell "tap the brakes."
One of my favorite quotes or sayings comes from our very own Darryl Moose Johnston. "Adversity doesn't develop character, it reveals it". Moose hits that right on the head.

I think one of those announcers in Dodgeball actually said that.
Really, that Vince Vaughn movie, Lol. Well I remember the year after we beat the Eagles in the playoffs and we had high expectations for the next year and then the wheels came off. Very similar to this season. Moose called a couple of our games and said that phrase a couple times. That's hilarious if he stole that from a movie like Dodgeball. But I do enjoy the movie Dodgeball, but I thought Moose was philosophical with that phrase. Ha, that's funny.
Not sure I've seen a team worry more about the media's perception of them, then actually doing something to change it.
