You guys crack me up - do you really think the quote is from Dodgeball? It may have been used in that movie, but the quote is originally attributed to Vince Lombardi.

It reminds me of my kids saying, "Hey, I love that song 'I'm a believer' - you know, the one from Shrek!"

Yeah - I'm old.

Exactly! I was playing Name That Tune with my niece the other day the computer and played The Munsters television show theme song from the 60's and of course she immediately yells--

Fall Out Boy!

This stuff doesn' happen when things are going well. Doesn't worry me too much. Win and it goes away.

Has nothing to do with loyalty or pride. Not with this organization. Because honestly I don't even really like this team. Or rather, I don't like a lot of people on the team and how the abundance of flash.

I'm a Dallas native. I was born into the Cowboys.

Despite the majority of my life with this team a complete dumpster fire, I can't quit them.

I understand your frustration. however, the Star is bigger than this team or Jerry Jones. this is just the current layer. a layer none the less. this time shall pass.

Another overrated player not making a difference when it counts, venting on social media. Surely, he's smart enough to know these things never end well. He could've just asked his wife.....

....pretty obvious there is no team discipline.....on or off the field.....to me, that's a direct reflection on JG.

I thought Garrett talked to these guys about garbage like this. Apparently they dont care what he says and aren't afraid of him or any real consequences.

For the love of God when do we finally get to hold the head coach accountable for the freefall this team is in??

In all honesty? Not until Jerruh joins Al Davis.

We'll never truly have a coach that'll be able to hold players accountable as long as he continues to call the shots and continues to bring in yes men.

.....don't dispute this one bit....yeah, it's shady and precarious.....Jerry should fire JG.....I ain't seen JG look under pressure yet, in his pressers. So Jerry, put his rear end under some fire, cause We laughing and we're trying to hold onto the fading fan loyalty.....laughing stock of the league right now. And Jerry is selling the "secret sauce" mess to the fans and counting revenue on Mondays.

However, JG can't say his hands have been tied during games (shown nothing that stands out positive on game day) JG clapping like he coaching 9 yr olds....where winning is NOT the priority for a good coach for that age group. JG is back to who we though he was...not ready/hasn't learned/over his head/undeserving.

Guys worried about twitter and mediots instead of their performance, epitomizes what ales this team.

This.

Exactly.

This team has spent way too much time worrying about twitter, the media, reporters instead of worrying about what they should be doing on the field.

You've got tons of people here who yawn and blah blah that kind of attitude but that's a major problem in sports when you've got guys on your team focusing on worrying about junk like that, instead of focusing on the job at hand, which is performing at their best and winning football games.

I am at a loss for how to even respond to this. How immature can you be. This team is developing some real character issues real fast, it's time that these are fixed and quick. Otherwise this loser mentality is going to become deeply entrained and last long after this season is over .

I guess this is what you get when guys like Greg Hardy are "team leaders".

It just boggles the mind that Cole Beasley is so immature to respond to this crap.

and evenmore so why we care about twitter fights.

Out of all that, the part that concerns me most is that a professional print journalist doesn't know how to spell "tap the brakes."

Most are not "journalists" and are only "professional" in the sense that they get paid. There is very little professionalism, and even less journalism, from the media these days.

Still trying to figure out why an athlete has a twitter account. Talk about setting yourself up for the worst...

I didn't realize Barry Horn even worked in print journalism... only knew of him as an annoyingly loud-mouthed radio type.
