Beasley = Tougher version of Terry Glenn?

Anyone else see some Glenn in Beasley?

In the short routes and shiftiness, sure. In the deep routes its no comparison like others have said. I think next year it will really be a good set (like it is now) with Dez and TWill outside with Beasley in the slot. I think the interesting question is how much and where they play Harris, if they bring in a real deep threat.

Sorry OP, but your post deserves a random pic of Dave Campo.

please stop... Terry Glenn was not all-world, but he had enough of a career that you don't compare the guy that looks like the Pirate in Dodgeball to him after what, like his second year playing a few snaps off the bench.

That's funny, I'm the same way because it just seems like basic courtesy not to bother people. I live in Hollywood so you see a ton of people you recognize, a few months ago the guy that was cut off in traffic where you are in different cars throwing your hands up and pointing at the moron driver, was Anthony Hopkins.

The only time I ever had that "oh wow" feeling was running into Paul McCartney in a grocery store and even then I wasn't sure it was him until I saw the armed security guys covering the exits. He gave me that same "thanks for being cool and not bothering us" nod as he was checking out. I've told people that story and had them ask why I didn't ask for his autograph, and I've always said "You mean asking for an autograph from a guy whose best friend was murdered by someone asking for an autograph?"

Could he afford to buy anything, since his ex took him for every penny he had?

Truthfully no not really. Terry Glenn was always a 15+ Yards Per Catch guy, Beasley is a 9 YPC guy which is 126 out of 152 qualified receivers. Glenn reminds me more of Terrence Williams if I had to pick a guy from the current roster.

Good one. That woman, the one who is a landmine activist, was with him and seemed a bit entitled. He seemed focused on getting the stuff they needed and directing his security guys. You could tell he was a good guy, he went out of his way to make eye contact and give me the "thanks for being cool" nod and waive. Living his life has to be completely nuts.

Well bro he is kind of right, I don't think Terry Glenn's game ever comes to mind thinking of Beasley. That's like saying Orton kinda reminds me of Joe Montana....

I'm thinking more like K-Mart (Kelvin Martin) than TG but it's a nice comparison.

That's exactly who he reminds me of.

And nice TG video except Hambrick flashed across the screen and I got cold sweats.

Is it just me or should that picture have a Caption saying "Dave Campo, Spokesman for the Colorado Coalition for Medical Marijuana"?

Not even close. 2 totally different players with player A's skill/talent level dwarfing player B's.

When I think of Beez's game, I'm reminded of Terry Glenn; quick, gets open and has good hands. I hope that Cole remains injury-free because that was Glenn's one big drawback.

Anyone else see some Glenn in Beasley?

Glenn was a 4.3 40 while Beasley is a 4.5 but no doubt has good quickness to get open.

I never got the whole "Let me have your autograph" thing either. It's not like you can do anything with it. And it's not like they're going to remember signing their autograph when they've signed literally hundreds of autographs.

It's more a keepsake than anything, and I have my memories.

At least you didn't say he reminds you of Wes Welker, Eric Decker or Ricky Proel. :)

Camps does give the look of a half-baked ex-hippie in that pic.

for comparison:

I don't claim to be an expert in comparing players, but Glenn's athleticism and explosiveness are more reminiscent of Miles Austin if the latter had decent hands.
