Beating San Francisco would be proof this is a different team

you have an owner who gives a crap about making the team better, highly unlikely they pull it off, but they are undefeated on the road.

What I don’t get is over the last couple years I’ve admittedly been negative and got hell for it! Now I’m being positive and it’s the same ol bs?!?
There is nothing to be positive about while Emperor Jones is in control of this team. It just comes off as deluded cringe.

Sorry to join the naysayer crowd but beating SF would mean very little to me. This team has been on this roller coaster before. Despite what the haters keep telling us they actually HAVE beaten a few good teams over the years. Here's the fun part. If they DO beat the Niners, who have the Chiefs this week and could come into that game 3-4 and go to 3-5 if the Cowboys beat them and therefore not a "winning team" so the haters will still be able to say they don't beat good teams. It's like the story writes itself.

It's going to take a while to get rid of the Detroit stank with this team. That was brutal. The team may have moved on but the smell lingers on. Beating SF would be more a fluke than a change of mindset and winning that lasts. We would have to beat multiple winning teams to restore that we are better than those 3 brutal home losses.

There are only three ways I see the Cowboys beating the 49ers. First, the 49ers commit 8 turnovers that lead to 1 TD and 7 Aubrey FGs. Second, they lose half their defense to injuries in the first quarter. And lastly, their team bus breaks down 10 miles from the stadium and all the players have to walk carrying their gear the rest of the way, leaving them too exhausted for the game.

One, it will never happen. Two, if it happened, it would validate things about this 9ers team that many are saying. Three, it won't change what is going on with this franchise. Last week we played the team to beat, and we had a horrible no-show and the 9ers right now are not what they were the last couple of years. Now, as we get healthy, if we go on a run through this tough schedule and win outright, we can talk but I think we know as Cowboys fans that 1 game does not change the tune of where we are at

Ugh. Losing out is the only thing that makes sense. Certainly more sense than going 8-8 and picking 20 spots later than we could

You're evaluating of the team is terrible then. Now is definitely the time to be negative. When we were winning 12 games hope was a lot less far fetched. Lol

Hey man, I expect to lose, but you never know. If we beat the niners I'd go back to one game at a time. Right now I cant even use that philosophy, because we've been whipped so badly.

Losing to Detroit in the way we did sucked but not all his lost ladies and gents. It’s time we take on our old rivals, the 49ers!! The Cowboys over the last few seasons lose this game but if this team wants to shut up the naysayers then they come to SF and punch them in the month. Win this game and everybody forgets about the Detroit beat down and we can start talking about how this team have finally overcome their nemesis and how this team might be different. A loss here would be same ol Cowboys and wouldn’t bode well for the remainder of the season. A win here and this team might start making noise in the nfc!!!
Even if we beat 49ers it will only get the monkey off back, will be meaningless if we lose the nextgame or play pathetically.

There are so many holes offensively and defensively ,and it cant be overcome just by wishing , we need better schemes to put players in a way to succeed and also players commitment to tough it out and play for each other.

Maybe the teams agenda is to show JJ n Co what his all in meant. All the losses look similar to the GB massacre.

Or that we're a schizo team. The Titans were like this a few years back. Worldbeaters one game, losing to the winless the next.

A win over sf would be short lived as we march down the streets waving victory flags and never stop fast enough to get ready for the next opponent

Yes if they beat SF, they would definitely be a different team. I mean Literally, they would be the ravens, dressed as cowboys.
