I can't figure out how it really matters if everyone sees your draft board after the draft.

I don't know that it matters much either.

I would love to see how other teams thought of different players. You could then generate a concensus board of some type and see how closely various players went versus the concensus and have a better idea of where "reaches" may have occurred.

I know this may be "secrets" but in the end this is entertainment and having a dedicated set of core fanatics is needed for the sport to be popular and this would feed the fanatics well. Maybe opinions will change over time as at one point in time the "Allh-22 film" was guarded like an NFL secret. I remember Couchscout was directed to never let anyone see the film after he completed his analysis and destroy any leftover evidence. Now we can pay a bit to have access to that film for any game.

I tweeted Broaddus about this and he never responded. He typically responds to questions but he had no answer as to why it mattered that a draft board was leaked AFTER the draft. Broaddus "felt so bad" for the scouts as if the info was leaked before the draft. I still don't get it...

As a fan, the leak definitely answered a lot of questions as to Dallas' thinking during the draft. I love that we got 3 of our top 25 players and 5 of our top 50. Hopefully our scouts did a good job ranking these players.

The leak matters some as it is information about our values. But it's only one draft and its post draft so I'm not that concerned....as long as it doesn't continue to happen. If Jerry would talk a little less that wouldn't hurt either.

2nd time it's gone public in four years. 2010 draft the same thing happened. I've heard the video was available for one of the other drafts but it never went public.

As a fan I love it. This is gold. But I can understand why a team wouldn't want it out there.

2. Murray out initially with hamstring but returned.

3. Nobody can cover Dez.

4. Cowboys draft board "leaked".

6. Frederick 1st team Center in OTAs.

7. Free re-signed to 2-year, 3.5M per year contract.

8. Maybe more than 2 weeks ago, but they put DT Brian Price on IR and signed DE/DT Anthony Hargrove.

i guess if message boards were solely used as an interactive googleing tool i wouldnt use them...

I just figured with the amount of posts, and threads that get deleted/locked, one that asks to rehash the topics of the last 4 pages of this forum would also be unnecessary.

Miami and Indy are taking it to the wire in the NBA. It's down to a game 7 in Miami tonight.

Tiger got blistered by 20 strokes this weekend.

Lots of talk that Howard might be going to the Rockets next season.

Wow. That sucks (for both ND and Golston). In Golston's case it sucks cuz he's screwing up a high quality education opportunity.
