Complete Bozo comment.

Parsons was 2nd in DPOY voting in 2022 behind Nick Bosa after finishing 2nd in 2021 behind TJ Watt.
How about tha Micah seemed frustrated moreso in 2022 when he wanted more? Now, then, untwist, untwist.
A good lad. Now off with you, Dana.

All I am pointing out is the sheer ridiculousness of calling a player "OK" when he has had a generational start to his career.

I am not commenting on how and when the Cowboys should deal with his contract. I for one agree with you when it comes to Diggs. I would have tried to trade him this offseason.

Lighten up man.

Let us take a long hard look at Parsons and Digs in 2023.
Yes, both are great athletes.
But 2022 was not the stellar year for both they hoped.
Some would say Diggs regressed with his ball-hawking ways and "business decisions."
Others would say Parsons seemed dejected, frustrated that teams had figured him out, double dreamed him and made Parsons an OK edge and an OK LB instead of the great, versatile player he was in 2021.
Thus, here is hoping Micah and Diggs revisit their greatness of 2021 and get a hefty bump in any extension or new contracts.

But Jiminey!
Base their rewards on what they do in 2023, not from the standpoint of 2021.
Ok. Let’s trade both for future draft picks.

Whose next? Let’s trade Tyler after this season.

I also suggest that we trade our top two picks in this weeks draft as soon as they look like they are going to be above average.

Even better, let’s just trade all future first and second round picks for lower round picks and just have an entire roster of average players on rookie deals.

You've approached the question from the wrong direction. The issue is the lack of supplemental talent:
a) Diggs numbers were down because teams feasted on our lack of CB2
b) Micah's body wore down as he appeared to pass-rush on EVERY down. Whether this is Micah's insistence or Quinn's plan, id scheme around him and rush others.

Is this really the level of football analysis you bring to the table?

Parson's is next level, even if you think last year was "OK". Players like him get better, not worse.

Diggs 22' season has been his best season so far, especially when you look at his film. Rarely gets burned and takes less chances. Sure that INT stat looked good in 21' but when he missed... it was bad news.

Those who want to trade him, or think it was an off year for him are simply wrong. Go back and watch games or breakdowns of the secondary.

Highly disagree. Parsons had a groin issue for a portion of the season, but he was also a key reason that we were in the SFO game. It wasn't his fault we lost by any means. Parsons has probably been the best defencive player in a while since we drafted him. I think he's going to get even better.

As for Diggs, I do wonder if we will be able to keep him. However, I do think signing him is also a good move. Diggs is a CB who basically keeps QBs from wanting to his way. Teams didn't really throw his way much, and fot good reason. What we SHOULD do is draft a CB like Jaylon Jones from Texas A&M. Having a hard hitting CB rotating with Gilmore means that teams can't be so resistant of throwing Diggs' way. Thus, he'll be able to get more interceptions.

Jeebus ......... I guess some posters never want us to sign our best players ever again because they are worried about a salary cap that the owners created so they could save money.

From what I have seen Diggs has one goal in life. Sign the largest contract he possibly can. If you do not know to stay away from this type of player by now then you are without hope. Parsons is still promising. I believe he cares about his legacy as a teammate and as a football player. I think you can give him a massive amount of money and it will not change him. He may come up short in the future but I doubt it will be for lack of trying. Diggs has not even been paid yet and he already quit on his team in the playoffs. Signing him is madness.

If you resign Diggs early to a massive deal you are ignoring all of the red flags. Spend your cap dollars wisely and you will be less disappointed.

Diggs will show out this year or play better than last year. Then we will pay him 20 a year. Parsons is getting beat up half way through the year. He isn’t built for full time pass rusher or DE, he is a beast of moved around. He is complaining about the low blocks. He is getting held so bad it’s frustrating. If the refs start calling these holds his number will go up. They will keeps doing it until it’s called. But he will get a record setting contract. And he will not play his 5th year. He will hold out first. I just hope he don’t pull a Elliot and hold out 2 years early.

I find it insane how many are willing to let Diggs walk when the guy opposite him is on a 1 year deal. Yeah, lets go into 2024 with Bland as our only starting outside DB.......

How many years have we complained about this team lacking DBs with the ability to attack the ball? We find one in the draft and some want to send him packing.

Diggs became a better corner last year. It’s not your money. Jerry is going to re-sign them both. You don’t let them go in their prime. At the end of the day you have a great unit because do them just like because of Zeke and Dak at one point
Explain how it's not 'his money' seeing as how he is a fan and contributes to the Dallas Cowboys' revenue by way of tickets, merchandising, etc.

I don’t understand if teams can get from
Under these contracts why are y’all so afraid to spend Jerry’s money?
We're all afraid for Jerry to sign Diggs and Parsons because we want to make sure there is enough money for Daks next contract.

I just don't really care anymore. Dak has ruined the hope I've had for this team winning anything. Give Parsons QB money. I could care less if Diggs gets 25 mil a season. Might as well over pay everyone. I'm looking for a free Dak jersey I can turn into a doormat at my local pub.

Tell you what, call up Jerry, tell him you bought a few jerseys, maybe went to a game or 2 and that you would like a say on player contracts, the draft, team advertising, etc. Let me know how that goes.
