Maybe he'll make the team.

Likely has to beat out our sixth-round pick in order to do it.

I use to look at his games and he just dominated as a pass-rusher. He was always in the back-field, sometimes before the ball could be handed to the runningback, and I believe this guy is a MONSTER that can get the job done and then some. He's a great pick-up.

He'll be lucky to be #4 which would get him on the team, not that he doesn't have a lot of promise.

If He does that it will be called a penalty. Ware does it and it's called:bang2:

I beleieve spencer will be our #2 Pass rusher.

You really don't have an understanding of what I am saying. He gets off the snap so fast he's back there before the Quarterback can hand the football off to the runningback, meaning when the Quarterback is about to hand the ball of to the running back, DR is there to make the play.

Look at the clips, that's visual evidence proving what Im saying anyway...

I don't see how is going to outproduce Ellis and Spencer. I think he is competing for a spot on the PS or a shot at ST for now.

And don't forget Justin Rogers the 2007 sixth-round pick of the patriots we grabbed off waivers last year.

I know what you are saying:D

I'm just saying If He plays the snap so good He gets the jump on everybody else, the refs will call it...The refs are blind, They dont realize ware is just that fast, they assume He went off early.

it's a good thing I'm just complaining about the refs;) .

:starspin Strengths: Is a great athlete and impact defender against both the run and the pass. When bull rushing aggressively and with leverage, delivers violent punches to offensive tackles and has the strength to drive them back into the quarterback. Shows quick footwork and explosiveness to break back underneath linemen with an inside pass-rush and shows a great finishing burst for sacks. Gets inside backside run blocks, comes down the line fast and makes plenty of tackles. When keeping knees bent and using hands aggressively, jolts run blockers, stays free and makes tackles. On zone blitzes, is smooth dropping into coverage.

:starspin Weaknesses: Production does not match talent. Lacks explosiveness as a pass rusher. Is often a beat late moving off the snap. Tends to get upright as a pass rusher and lacks moves, struggling to defeat offensive tackles. Gets too upright against the run; hinders strength at point of attack, causing him to get tied up and eliminated. Does not use hands well to protect legs, getting cut to the ground. Must get stronger and add 10-15 pounds.

:starspin Bottom line: Robertson has the talent to perform much better than he did at Georgia Tech, and he most likely will be drafted higher than his production warrants. He might be best suited to play defensive end in a 4-3 defense, but he has the athleticism to make it as a rush linebacker in a 3-4.

QFT.

That's not a knock on Robertson though, that's more telling of how bad *** our OLB's are.

its time to start spencer and save ellis for the playoffs.

ellis always starts strong and peters out. its getting worse as he ages, lets start spencer and use ellis sparingly during the regular season.

Yeah, the writing's on the wall for ol' Greg. Out with the old, in with the new. It's not like Greg is coming off 12.5 sacks in 13 games with a Pro Bowl appearance or anything.

Oh wait.

I swear, sometimes I truly feel dumber after reading some of these posts.
