everyone is making a big deal of beating the two teams from the last SB back to back.

Sounds great but NEITHER team is what they were last year

Still it is very common for a very good well coached team getting hot and then getting it done, the Ravens with Flacco getting hot late is the best example I can think of. Excellent D with a very good coach and a QB that got hot at exactly the right time.
