I support anyone’s right to express their opinions here as long as they are within the rules. This is a fan opinion forum, not a one size fits all rah-rah club.
The minute we start complaining about what other people say on here is -
IN MY OPINION - missing the point. A forum is all about diversity of opinion.
As long as we don’t attack or demean each other, there are two good responses to opinions we disagree with or just don’t like seeing here:
- State WHY you disagree with the other person’s opinion by stating your own opinion. Disagreement is normal on an opinion forum. It’s what makes this place tick.
- Ignore it.
I believe the biggest waste of time on this great forum is to attack other fans for their opinions. Especially over what any of us think is “positive” or “negative”.
If someone wants to be positive all the time, that’s fine. I won’t attack anyone for that. But out respect for your fellow Cowboys fans I recommend not attacking them or demeaning them. Just disagree. That’s exactly how this place works best.
No one. Not a single soul on here has the right to decide what it means to be a “good Cowboys fan”.
If anyone wants to be “positive” around here, step 1 is to be more tolerant of other people’s opinions. That applies to all of us.
