I just commented on a couple other threads which spurred this thought.

Brady is a Free Agent. What if we could attract Bill and Brady. Brady behind this OL ,compliment of receivers and running game could revive his career. Possibly extending it 2 or 3 more years.

And let Bill work his magic on this defense . I think we’d become instant SB contenders. Bill could become the first HC to lead two different teams to a Super Bowl championship. That could be his final stamp on the NFL.

Jerry would have to give up his control but this might be the only type of situation I could see Jerry basking in the limelight for just bringing it together while sticking it up Krafts butt. Lol

You’ll have to be more specific. I have no idea what you’re referencing. I didn’t say we’d get Bill and Brady. You need to read what I write not how you interpret it.

And time will tell if McCarthy ends up being another puppet style or another Parcells type Bust.

But I’m excited about the hire. I fully expect to reach the SB now. Nothing to stop all of this talent. Lol

Its actually two things:

1. Jerry will only hire another puppet
2. A quality coach would never want to work here for Jerry

Glad you are excited about the hire. Going from Garrett to McCarthy a huge step up. Nolan is another great hire.

I don’t recall using the word “ never”. I’d argued for years he’d only hired puppets except for Bill so I didn’t have any hope he would.

And I didn’t think he’d attract some of the big names or hot prospects.

I’m not sure I’d describe McCarthy falling into either of these categories. Suspect to me we only interviewed MCarthy and Lewis.

What Im most excited about with the McCarthy hire is we no longer can excuse the coaching for the lack of success from this over hyped talent.

I’ve been mostly right about Jerry for over 2 decades. It’s still yet to be seen if this decision will work out any better than his last surprise with Bill.
