All the "Jerry and Bill are so tight! Bet on Bill being our new head coach!' folks will suddenly develop amnesia, dodge or go silent.

That said, this news is not a 100% certainty of remaining true. Dude took the Jets job one day, quit and signed with Robert Kraft the next day. So remember what Lloyd Christmas said, lol.

But he was never signing with Dallas. Pipe dream. Glad the Tar Heels nipped that nonsense in the butt.

Yeah Jerry isn't going to change his approach at all. I doubt he brings in anyone who has any real degree of autonomy. Dude is senile.

This is strange; I was so sure he wanted the all time NFL wins for a HC

BUT maybe he is looking for a change

He is a first Ballot HOF already
His who got hurt no one wanted to hand the franchise over to a weirdo 80 year old who stinks at personnel decisions

Got to say I'm surprised at both sides.

Bill going to college with the NIL and transfer portal like the wild wild west and UNC firing Brown and going with a Dinosaur NFL HC.
So odd.....fire a 73 yr old and hire a 72yr old..... Yeah I see this working out well lol

Is there anybody here who truly thought Jerry would give up enough control to get Belicheat in the door? If you did apparently you must be new here. Also Bill was asking UNC to make his son coach in waiting. Dont know if UNC did that but surely no NFL team would. Should have a helluva defense though.

Ehh... if anything, I think he was mainly looking for a job cause it doesn't seem any of the NFL teams truly wanted him in any capacity.

I could definitely see this as a reason to push for him to try it on out. Just better be careful cause... his girl might rethink her normal "dudes" being around them college prospects

Not like his ways of coaching may stick with 18-21 year olds that can enter the portal at multiple times over a year.

One thing if they hired Saban, a College legend, but Bill B? I can't see too many 18 year olds wanting to play for him.
