Despite all this, his last interception really, really bothered me. The rest I chalk up to nerves and inexperience, but that last one was a terrible pass thrown late and right to a defender at the worst possible time.

Although I hated that he threw that INT... it didnt bother me THAT much... reason being... we have seen the VERY BEST QB's throw THAT INT.... I think timing and discipline route running limits those types of INTs

I'm not sure about #6...!!

Are you saying that Romo can put up BETTER poor numbers then Bledsoe?

What I was saying is that.... Drew played bad and we were still in games to win... Romo should be able to play better in that regard

Just to mention... it was mentioned in the Dallas media that Crayton ran the wrong route on that last Romo INT.

Honestly, after rewatching that play just now. It looks like Crayton didn't have a clue what he was suppose to do on that play. If you watch it, you'll see that Crayton starts to run what looks to be a curl route and then just all the sudden starts to run to the middle of the field. Romo threw the ball right as Crayton broke down it what looked like a curl route... if Crayton stays where he's at instead of running inside.. that's a nice completion!

That last interception was Bledsoe like. At the same token, he threw 2 TDs and passed for 200 plus yards. So for being thrust into a den of wolves I thought Romo did reasonably well. Romo survived the carnage because he too is a wolf, a true predator.

Now Bledsoe is also a wolf, but an old wolf that has become myopic with a bad case of mange.

Romo does give me some hope. He may turn out quite well. But let's wait on scheduling his appointment for the whole Canton "bust measurement" thing. We don't want to disrupt his preparation for the Carolina game. ;)

Bledsoe is more like a sacrificial lamb now

Wow. And you were able to tell that from the 3 quarters he's played?

You must be a scout.

Oh wait, you arent.

Let me fix that list for you.

  1. is smart and will make better decision?
  2. will use all of our weapons without prejudice?
  3. can escape defenders?
  4. can extend the play?
  5. can read the defense quickly?
  6. can put up atleast the same poor numbers as Drew and probably better?
  7. Bill has more faith in?
  8. Bill can control in a positive way?
  9. can run it in if he has to?
  10. truly give us the best chance to win?

You've all already anointed Romo as Football Jesus. While I'm sure the Gridiron Savior appreciates your faithful worship, lets look at some facts. Since you seem to be fond of lists here's one of my own.

  1. was an UFA
  2. was buried on the bench behind some of the worst starting QBs in the NFL
  3. was such a prospect that no one outside of Dallas fans knew who he was
  4. is untested

Now, seeing as how all of my list is FACT, how in the world can you look at those FACTS and then draw the conclusions you have in your list? Simple: you can't. Nothing more than wishful thinking from a fan that is so desperate for another Franchise QB.

youre right in everything you say, but no need for the vitriol man

I've believed since the pre-season and was high on Romo starting the season. It took Bill a little longer to figure it out but the bottom line is he made it happen. I BELIEVE!

all these bullet points are all almost certain upgrades over DREW which Romo offers. The biggest question mark is if his smarts WILL actually producte "better decisions" under adversity and pressure. Without that we will struggle.

Romo can play and we're gonna see that sunday night. I believe the team is looking forward to him starting also. He's got heart and he is hungry. He's a very confident QB too. He knows he's gonna win and do well. I like that about him. I also like how he sees the field and gets the ball out quickly. We will see big plays from our recievers now, especially TO. I'm anxious for the Romo era to begin. We are now a much better team already...

Watch TO really take off now. That little 10yrd drag route that he runs, that Bledsoe kept throwing at his feet, Romo will hit him in stride. TO dropped it last week but that won't be the norm, he keeps running with that reception. I'm excited for our O now. Bledsoe really hurt our offensive production with his late throws and missing open recievers. Romo is extremely accurate too...

We have way too many weapons that weren't being used. Defenses should be fearing us but they knew Bledsoe couldn't get them the ball. That's not the case anymore.. We are gonna come out of this 3 game road stretch 3-0 or 2-1.. This is the move that jump starts our season...

I believe that from what I've seen against the Giants, the unbolded ones I see happening. The bolded ones I'm not so sure about.

The one thing I did notice is that, despite the interceptions, Romo moved the ball very well on the Giants.

It looks like he can make every throw.

And Romo is not dedicated to just one receiver - he will spread it around.

Hey, that is a good start.
