Ben and Skin Lebron to Dallas song: Funny!

Reason #3: No state income tax!

Seriously, the Mavs are in the running for Lebron if you think about it. He most likely doesn't want to screw over his home town and leave them high and dry but he doesn't want to stay either. The solution to this is pushing a sign and trade. The catch to that solution is the Cavs wouldn't trade him in the East.

James to Dallas makes sense for both parties. The Mavs have never won a championship and have always needed that superstar to complement Dirk to push them over the edge. Lebron can build a dynasty in Dallas, and if Dallas wins with Lebron, James would get the credit.

Plus, Dallas is a much nicer place to spend your time in than New York, Cleveland, Chicago, or Miami.

I say that Damp's expiring contract + Barea + Butler + Cash + 1st round picks gets it done. I'll even give up JET or Roddy.

LeBron loves his favorite Cow Cows. I would love it for him to come here. If he does it'll make my summer, first we draft Dez then we sign LeBron.

Come on Lebron put your Maverick jersey on and its time to get it on you better come to Dallllass.

Must be noted that I have no horse in this race. I don't like nor dislike James and the same holds true for the Mavs.

Now I would think that the money is not much of an issue for a few teams. I would also think that the top end money would have to be set to a specific point for any team involved so I don't think it is just a matter of money for James. What I mean is, I would imagine that there is a ceiling that any team would hit so you might have 3-4 teams that would basically offer that ceiling of money so James is going to get his money no matter what team he goes to.

So then you would have to go with contributing factors that would make one team more tempting for him over the others.

With the Mavs you would have the no state income taxes situation which would increase the actually amount of money. If the top teams could only offer $100 (as an example) then James might get $85-90 from the other teams once state taxes are taken out but he would get more from a team in a state without state taxes. Although the Mavs are not in a huge media market like New York...they have enough media attention with Cuban, and the cowboys sharing the spotlight. Also no matter where he goes, James can always do promotions an ads by flying to meetings or having the promotion/ad people fly to him to shoot commercials.

So from a promotion and ad standpoint...he could get that anywhere because he is such a huge star that he is Nationwide and not just general area. So that is not a worry.

So other things might come into play. What team has other players that he thinks could help. What team does he think he might have the best chance to win championships with, what team has a Coach he would like to play for, what team has a style of game he would like.

One last thing to consider. James seems to be all about business. One has to wonder if there is a team out there that is so desperate for him that they might be willing to give up shares in the team. That might be something that would be a deal sealer for someone like James.

I can see James wanting to be someone that when he retires he is a team owner and that would be a step in the right direction.

I have no idea where he is going and in the end I really don't care. Just wasting some time on a message board talking about it.

I heard New York is the only team that has some certain type of stock and that Lebron could buy up all the stock and basically own the Knicks.

Well if that is the case than I imagine that would seal it for him.

Oh and by the way...that song was not all that great and without a doubt not even remotely close to the funniest thing I have seen or heard in a long time...kind of lame actually.
