Haven't seen anything about anyone signing him, are the Cowboys so happy with hitchens Wilson and Wilber that they don't wanna at least bring him in for TC?

High Motor, big time LB attitude hard hitting tackler

:banghead: Would have loved his tough as nails attitude on this team. Do u know if the Cowboys even tried for him?

Really wish the Cowboys used 239 or 246 on him.

Especially 246 instead of on Carrell the DT from Colorado who could have been signed as a UDFA.
He looks like he chugs 2 gallons of redbull before games haha

Pretty jealous of the panthers right now... his energy is contagious, he's a little dirty though lol but every defense needs a healthy touch of that.

Oh well it's over now he's a panther...

Dirty player get stupid penalties at the most inoppotune times.

The Panthers have plans on him being on SP Teams and maybe take the place of the departed reserve A.J. Klein who signed with the Saints.

Just revisit this thread after he is cut by the Panthers, HEY I THINK WE SHOULD BRING HIM IN!

Not every fiery high motor try hard kind of player that was productive on a national championship team is automatically a great pro or a great fit with every team.

He was all attitude and heart, and is incredibly smart with play recognition. He will be out of the league quickly though, his coverage skills are god awful, and will not be able to cover backs, TEs, or ANY slot WRs.

Probably why he wasn't drafted. But I do like the fact that he punked Alabama. :)

Exactly. There are dozens of these guys every year. He might as well be Caleb McSurdy 2.0

There's something about him that I don't like. I can't quite put my FINGER in it, uh on it butt there's just something not right. Lol

The draft media and fans seem to overlook coverage when evaluating LBs. In the modern NFL LBs need to have great coverage skills. They can be super-wow run defenders, but if they can't cover, they're not going to play many snaps.

Thanks for this!

4.85 40 yard dash....it ain't happening. Seen/recall many a good/great College LBer come in here at the position running a 4.8, just too hard to overcome on the 4-3 Defense in the Pros.
