Still a bit early yet, I said we would miss the playoffs preseason. I do think the season is salvageable, but it would be a rinse and repeat cycle in the playoffs, so what's the end goal?

Well then what do you call it? Holds out and then doesn't have a very good year last year either and then plays like crap this year. If that's not mailing it in then I don't know what is. Is he just old? I've never seen a player regress this much and coincidentally right after he got paid.

So he missed training camp and never recovered from it and took an even bigger chunk of our cap, preventing us from signing players we needed.

I'm ready to move on. He's a Hall of Fame guard and my only regret is that he played here. I wish he had gone somewhere with an opportunity to win a Super bowl.

We should have flipped him for picks. We should have flipped Diggs for picks. Parsons should be flipped for picks. Dak should have never been extended. Steele shouldn’t have been extended.

Lamb is a great player but if you are going to set the market you have to be a bit unconventional if you are going to pay an average QB record money.

We are drafting well, overall, we are just not adding anything in free agency of any significance. If you really believe that you are THAT good at drafting you move on from players that will likely underperform their contract in return for picks.

If Diggs had been shopped at his high point he would have probably netted us a 1st and a 3rd. You could have replaced Diggs with the first round pick or the third, got a two players for one (draft picks), kept your cap in good shape and probably has no dropoff in performance from Diggs.

If we sign Parsons to a QB level deal the depth of this team will be as shallow as a single layer of Saran Wrap.

Guyton isn't ready to replace anybody! Having said that, Steele is very mediocre and is hurting the team. This team's Oline has more to do with the miserable running game the Cowboys exhibit than the running backs put on the field. There is little to no openings or holes, and it's not going to get better with the current players. This team has so many needs, and it's record is going to show it the rest of the season. Layer on top of the lack of talent, with select players being lazy and lacking effort, you have a formula for a really embarrassing team and record. But, of course, Jones is one of the most brilliant GM's ever....thanks again, idiot!

he has been awful for two years. he has zero mobility to his right or left and is often blocking from his heels...

he has to go. but he won't until his contract runs out. that's jerry for you

Smith and Guyton as your OT's. If this is Martin's last season, flip Bass to RG and slide Richards into LG.

I dont like benching Guyton. I think its soft. He has struggled, but he has gone up against a gambit. He has still been better at LT than Steele has at RT. Plug him at RT now, where he has the most experience. Next offseason figure out who your LT and RT are between Guyton and Smith
