The qb probably did that on his own. Why would you play for overtime when you can't stop the other team?

Agreed. It was the right call.

Their offense was their best chance to win the game.

Not sure what you mean by QB skill. He’s not nearly as mobile as Manomes is. He’s a great pocket passer. Lamar is the one that’s scary.
He’s more mobile than you think, it’s not like Mahomes is hella mobile. Burrow and Mahomes near the same with that.

Mahomes is not really as mobile as some make him out to be. But he has great pocket awareness and thus often does not have to move much to buy the time he needs

Ravens couldn’t stop them either. Hope to win toss and go get a TD.
50 per cent you win the toss and then you still have to go long way to win. Probably better odds on getting the 2 pointer, especially if they call one of the 2 penalties.

I don’t know man…..I’d say they are close to each other then to say Lamar but I think Mahomes has some underrated wheels on him. Not in that he’s overly fast but I’ve seen him get those out of nowhere 15 or 20 yard gains. It’s also tough because these last few years Mahomes doesn’t seem to be as good in the regular season. Like this year Burrow is smoking him. But Mahomes also doesn’t have a receiver as good as Higgins and for sure it as good as Chase. Burrow is a beast though. Everyone fonds over Josh Allen…give me Burrow.

I was wrong about Jackson. I thought he’d get hit a few times and change his game. Man I was wrong. He is great. What an athlete.

because a tie gives you a shot, miss the 2 and you automatically lose
Unless you lose the coin flip then they get a TD in OT and you lose without your offense touching the ball.

You can’t be afraid in the NFL. If your best unit has a chance to win the game you can’t avoid it because they might fail.

The Bengals o-line is trash and the offense needed a lot of 3rd and 4th down completions to move the chains on the last drive so to execute one play from 2 yards was arguably not the % play.

THIS year Burrows is smoking it. And get this: his rating has climbed STEADILY through the season so far. His TD to INT ration is getting better as well.
Ironic that the year he finally looks truly elite his team probably is not going to make the playoffs

so far he is having a career year and his passing is the best I have ever seen from him
At this rate he is going to blow away the stats from last year when he was the MVP
He ALREADY has more TDs and fewer picks then he had ALL LAST season/ Clearly the picks will go up but the ratio is much better
I think having Henry is also helping hugely; teams cannot key on Jackson now or Henry will destroy you.

His team ignored the trenches and are paying for it. Elite qb play doesn’t seem to matter if the trenches are that bad.

There’s also a million ifs by kicking the xp and playing for overtime.

If you kick the xp. You literally may never get the ball back. Which is a problem when your defense is getting smoked.
and if you miss the 2 you lose, I prefer putting off guaranteeing a loss as long as possible.
