The Bengal front office list of screw ups is very long and goes back many years. They have not done much right in the last 20 years.

True, but just a couple of years ago, everything was looking up for them.

Somehow I doubt he was suspended for two years for "beer", although I'm sure that's how he's spinning it. I'm sure 99% of the NFL players kick back some beers, why aren't they getting suspended for two years?

He had one DUI that extended his already existing 4 game suspension ... but you have to violate the NFL substance abuse policy at least 3 times to get into that phase in the first place.

Doubt it was crack. Weed maybe, but crack? No.

So from reading this maybe they asked him to be back by the end of the week, which would be four days after the funeral, and he still didn't do it.

Just saying that I don't trust The Turd's representation of the facts.

This story may sound harsh, but they aren't releasing him for this one instance. He's been nothing but a continual headache ever since they drafted him.

I'm betting there's alot more to this than what they reported...as bad as Cincy's defense is, thy wouldnt release him unless 1) they think he cant play anymore or 2) he *** up again somehow and it just hasnt got out yet

Thank you, you are the only one that I agree with, trust me, when I found out we cut Thurman, I was shocked. I think there is more to it, We needed Thurman, now its Jones at MLB. Lewis has always had Thurman's back, he must of screwed up again.
