Cooper had just had a down season with multiple foot injuries….And looked to be in decline. Cooper’s contract was designed to be for 2 seasons from the beginning. Draft compensation was never the goal of the trade… it was to clear cap space that went into multiple contributors of a 12-5 season. They are going to give him away as you put it BECAUSE he wants $30 million per year. Isn't that how it works? When we got a 5th for Cooper it was because of his contract supposedly.
But it is he money demand that will keep him from Dallas. Jerry is not going to pay him $30 million even if he got him for a 5th round pick
Oh I agree but I also think he’s gonna be fired within 2 years. He’s a stop gap until they find their real coach IMO. Hope he has success though seems like a great guy.Man, Dan Quinn couldn't have found a much better situation
A promising young QB with already 2 playoff wins and a GM that believes in utilizing free agency to its fullest.
Great Time to be a skins fan
lol what on earth leads you to that conclusion?Oh I agree but I also think he’s gonna be fired within 2 years. He’s a stop gap until they find their real coach IMO. Hope he has success though seems like a great guy.
So if he wins a SB they will still fire him? If so then they are even dumber than JethroOh I agree but I also think he’s gonna be fired within 2 years. He’s a stop gap until they find their real coach IMO. Hope he has success though seems like a great guy.
I think he’s an overrated defensive mind and he happens to be a defensive coach on a team with a lot of investment on offense. And between the Gb game in Dallas, SB game with Falcons and the Eagles game last year I think there’s some issue in scheme. 50 points in playoff games is a tall task.lol what on earth leads you to that conclusion?
Oh not if he wins a SB. I’m assuming they don’t. As a matter of fact… I think we see regression this year and will battle it out with Dallas for 2nd place in the Nfc east.So if he wins a SB they will still fire him? If so then they are even dumber than Jethro
Probably ends up in Dallas.
His meltdown as HC in the SB that allowed the Patriots to overcome that 28-3 lead is still a monkey on his back but this is a different team and he's got the opportunity to learn from past mistakes.I think he’s an overrated defensive mind and he happens to be a defensive coach on a team with a lot of investment on offense. Just my prediction it could be wrong lol.
Or rather the brain trust of the Cowboys don't have the imagination to make it happen.ITS.NOT.GOING.TO.HAPPEN.
I mean even In Dallas……He had some stacked defenses full of All Pros and gave up 50 points to a Packers team…,there’s a consistent trend. His meltdown as HC in the SB that allowed the Patriots to overcome that 28-3 lead is still a monkey on his back but this is a different team and he's got the opportunity to learn from past mistakes.
I just don't like his defensive scheme or ideology when it comes to player types on defense
As crazy as this sounds, they may be cheaper than JJ&SJ.I guess the Bengals plan on winning by scoring 60 per game...
LOL30 years old. 4 straight pro bowls and ALL-PRO this year.
Give them the 44th pick and call it a day. Best use of a 2nd round pick in many years.
The Crosby contract put a price tag on guys who effectively rush the passer. Cincy probably wants no part of that kind of compensation. The Cowboys may want to sign their own guy, Parsons, before seeking out anyone else. They don’t have to trade anything for him.A DE who can rush the passer and is still playing at a high level and can have an immediate impact.
This is a deal Jerry and Stephen should be all over…the Bengals are dumping him to clear cap space.
Oh…wait…I forgot…”we like our guys.” It was a nice thought however fleeting.
