The raw recordings of the stuff like the score probably about 200, but I compress everything down and keep a copy of everything I record, that file is a little over 200 also.

I have a bunch of externals filled with old news clips and that type of stuff along with the games and pre and post game shows.

an hour of HD recorded this way is about 8gb or so. Things like the score are 30 minutes and when you take the commercials out its about 20 minutes of actual stuff.

I have the show glory days they did recently and aired on cbs11 plus the hour long making of the cowboys cheerleaders calendar....but I dont want to get my youtube account suspended for putting it up..I need to make another alternate one for those!

Thanks for responding. You are the first to do so when I ask for some legit proof. I respect Babe as much as the next guy but it is still a second hand report. I really wish there was a definitive way to know what was offered. Oh well. All water under the bridge at this point.

I can almost guarantee you it was not second hand.

Bill jones put it on the cbs 11 twitter account I believe the night before the atlanta game.

then sunday morning babe is down on the field with Stephen, Todd Williams and the offensive coaching staff. Do the math. Obviously one of them told him, and since babe is in very close with the garretts and since in my opinion stephen likes to gloat a teeny bit when he feels the cowboys players are in demand, well it makes perfect sense that they flat told him.

Babe isnt a shark in the water like the guys running the other 3 stations here locally. He broadcasts his thoughts from a different viewpoint, and since he was on the team for 2 years while the Jones's owned the team I think he is a trusted place for a guy like stephen jones to say hey are players are in demand.

I mean can anyone other than babe or bill prove it, no...but Having watched and listened to them religously for 7 years now I feel confident if babe and bill said it...its true.

Will always remember the great Babe Laufenberg/Jay Schroeder battle for the Skins 2nd string QB job in the 80s. :lmao2:

well, he wasnt an outstanding player but he was an nfl qb and played for some of the greatest coaches in the history of the sport. He is a terrific color guy on the radio and is extremely intelligent.

and hey, make fun of him all you want but he was a close friend of aikman when he arrived here and someone aikman leaned on for stuff.

in 1990 when we were 3-7 the night before the game in the hotel, I think it was the rams cant remember now....aikman was ready to storm into jimmy's room and demand a trade immediately. It was laufenberg that sat him down and talked to him in that moment and made him just stick it out.

Aikman was livid because he felt like jimmy never believed in him and he received word that day that jimmy said in a meeting with the staff that week that Aikman was a loser...he was a loser in high scool and a loser in college and sitting at 3-7 Jimmy thought he was going to be a loser in the nfl...!!

Jimmy of course always denied the report.

Weird to see Dennis say he wouldn't pass on a WR high in the draft for this team and that he wouldn't take a #1 for Martellus Bennett. Way to show off that football intuition, Steve.

Not making fun of him. I was living in DC at the time and that was quite the preseason story for Commanders' fans. He actually brought them back to win a game in the 4th quarter, but they gave the job to Schroeder anyway.
