Bengals/Texans thread.

Look at that. Even a basic rush by their 2nd string NT and he's getting better pressure than anyone else we've got on the DLine.

now this is the bungles as we have known and laughed at over the years

I wouldn't have a problem with Houston winning the SB.

If you were a Cowboy fan living in Houston you wouldn't be saying that. :(

Texans just the Team of Destiny this year. Hate to say it but they could be Super Bowl bound. The Ravens will be their toughest match. I like their chances against the Patriots because of that defense, even on the road

Houston had some of the same needs as Dallas last off season, Guard and secondary help. They decided to address those needs instead of sticking with the some ole crap and it paid off big time for them.

Houston: Wade Smith, Jonathan Joseph and Daniel Manning
Jerry: Dockery, Costa, and Elam

this...going to be misery here in Houston as a boys fan. I wouldnt' care otherwise but Houston is such an "aggie" town they act out with a huge chip on their shoulder towards Dallas.

This one playoff win to them will = all dallas has done as a franchise but since their one playoff win is recent they then somehow have score board.

the worst part about some of houston's great solid defensive draft and FA pick ups last year was that they credit Wade with alot of input on getting those players....great...

That TD run wasn't as amazing as Marshawn Lynch's last year, but it was pretty good.

how does the texans 5th round pick from a year ago, TJ YATES look better than our 4th round pick from three years ago, Stephen Mcgee?

can anybody explain this nonsense?

and people wonder why i'm always so negative about this franchise.

ive learned negativity is usually constructed by the person feeling that way....its all how you look at things, like if you were a Texans fan you would say ----how does an undrafted QB from Eastern Illinois have a better career than the 1st over all pick from Fresno state.....

...and houston is doing this w/o Mario Williams.

Do you think Dallas could be as good a squad or better if DeMarcus Ware were out?

no we don't have other passrushers like houston do. The texans has alot of quick lineman and passrushers. We rely on ware too much. I don't understand. Its the same as wades last year we couldn't rush the passer but we went into the season thinking we was going to somehow magically rush the passer consistently. We died a slow death. We sat on our hands in FA. We need to invest more in lineman that can rush the passer. Todays nfl is a passing league.

We have too many big slow lineman that cannot rush the passer.

Would have made this team so much better.

or instead of focusing all our attention on ASO we should have went after jonathan joseph who is helping the texans look so good. Pass rush doesn't mean nothing if the QB can just throw the ball up not fearing any of our CB's and Safeties not named jenkins, knowing his wr will come down with the ball or it will be incomplete.

The heck do the Aggies have to do with the Texans?

and without their starting QB. Even though it was mostly foster doing work. This just goes to show you build from both sides of the line and out. Dominate the line of scrimmage and you will win alot of games.

Backup QB and without Mario Williams and their top receiver (Andre Johnson) not at 100 percent. Can you imagine us doing this without Romo and Ware and Dez not being 100 percent?

FTFY. ;)
