Besides ODB, who's your biggest concern for the GIants?

Landon Collins is talking a little smack about Tony not being able to exploit him, so it would be nice to see Tony torch him a few times just to welcome him to the NFL.

That would be really stupid of a rookie to talk junk against a pro bowl qb. You have a link?

Thanks for the link. I like that Collins is confident. Maybe he will be too aggressive and get himself out of position and Romo takes advantage.

They're not better than dallas in any position. But it will most likely be close.

Doug Free on the right side.

I'm worried about our LB's, so I'm worried about the run game and play action passes.

I'm guessing they will attack Claiborne and Byron Jones.

With Spagnuolo as the D-C, I expect a lot of blitzing. Testing out McFadden and the book on the Cowboys and Romo has always been to blitz them. Last year we showed we were unafraid to run against the blitz, it kept the defense honest and we had some success with running against the blitz. Still unsure if Linehan, Garrett and Romo will stick to the plan.

We typically get screwed by the refs against the Giants in Dallas, for whatever reason. Last two years we have not, but they've instead screwed us at NY.

Wasn't last year or the year before in Dallas where the Giants fumbled after (mince?) stripped a ball and it was ruled Down although it was a blatant fumble?

Happened a couple of times last year vs NYG.

Terell McClain also had a play where he stood up the RB and immediately stripped the ball and gained possession, but the refs ruled forward progress had been stopped.

Yes. Exactly the play I'm thinking about. I was actually at the game for that and couldn't believe even on a 5 mile screen they blew that.

I just worry because they're the Giants. They're a division rival and weird crap always happens, like, they have a hodgepodge of scrubs on the OL and Eli still has all night to throw.

yeah, i have no read on them. i expect the skins to be horrible, philly not much better, i cant imagine them all being bad tho

Biggest concern with Giants? Eli writing graffiti on the locker room walls. Cowboys need to have security in the visitors locker room to make sure he is not messing up Jerry Property

My biggest concern has to be our blitz pickup from our RB posisiton. In order for the Giants to cause any problem they need to send extra. If we shut that down early we can work the offense however we want.

Tom Coughlin. He's a hell of a coach and knows how to play against Dallas. The Cowboys have superior talent at nearly every position, but Coughlin will still keep his team competitive.

This is a game where we just need to hold onto the ball and we should be ok. Get down in the turnover battle by multiple turnovers, and we're looking at a game Eli could win with a big last drive and an insane pass to OBJ. Otherwise, yes, they'll blitz and we'll have to pick it up, but, personnel-wise, this is a game we should win.

Yup.

And they will never call Eli for intentional grounding no matter how bad and blatant it is.

Donnell

Eli has our number sometimes.

It's the same thing every year. If we get pressure on Eli we win (easily) and if we don't get pressure on him then at best it is a dog fight to the end or we get blown out. If the pressure we have been getting translates to the regular season then we should be in a good shape. The offense will score its points even if the running game isn't all worked out yet.

I can't wait to see Eli's stupid face Monday morning on every newspaper with the headlines "here we go again" after we stomp them. Can't stand that team.

My only concern is the Cowboys coming out flat and play like the Steelers last night.

I don't think the Steelers came out flat. For whatever reason, they had no communication with their DB's (and just by coincidence, their headsets weren't working). On the very first play, NE lines up in a simple 4 WR set and the Steelers were confused as to what coverage they were in. Happened most of the night.

But, they were moving the ball well and then genius Haley thru in some awful playcalls (the trick play was beyond stupid...you've moved the ball well on that drive, you didn't need a trick play). And then Scobee missed 2 FG's.

I thought the effort was there, but coaching woes and kicking woes killed them.
