...what sporting events would you really like to go and watch live? Name as many as you like. No restrictions on your tastes.

1. The Masters. Seeing it on TV is amazing. Seeing it live would be a dream come true.

2. NCAA Final Four. I actually like the first Thursday and Friday games better, but seeing the Final Four would be a treat.

3. National Finals Rodeo. Some of you may not view it as a sporting event the way I do, but I grew up around it. My Dad and Uncle both rode bulls as did my brother. I stay up late to watch every December, all 10 days.

4. Michigan vs. Ohio State. I'd like to see it once in each state, just to feel the hate. Great rivalry.

5. Wimbledon Finals. Would have been more fun when Di was alive, but it is a great traditional sporting event.

6. Summer Olympics. Preferably on foreign soil. Especially would want to see Track & Field.

7. Daytona 500. 250,000 screaming idiots just sounds fun.

8. Kentucky Derby. Actually this is much higher on my list but I forgot it earlier.

1. Dallas vs. Washington
2. Dallas vs. New York
3. Dallas vs. Philadelphia
4. Bull running in Mexico or Spain
5. Beerfest in Munich

now you guys can get all teary-eyed that I haven't been to see a Dallas Cowboy's game live, and send me tickets

I'll be honest and say I like watching baseball in person more than I like watching football. Major League baseball is so exciting to see in person, whereas in pro and college football you repeatedly have these TV time outs. Pro baseball is almost as fun to watch in person as pro football is to watch on TV. So, I'll have to say the World Series.

Hockey is another sport that TV doesn't do justice. We have a minor league hockey team here and I love watching them.

I saw Carolina at Dallas in their first meeting after they beat us in the playoffs. It was a good game. The crowd was vocal and Deion got an interception right in front of us (we had endzone seats). Jason Garrett threw a beautiful fade pass to Ernie Mills on the other side of the field in the endzone that I saw. I heard from people who watched it on TV that it was one of the best passes they have ever seen.

1. The Masters far and away of anything...even more than the Super Bowl.

2. Drew Pearson's Ring of Honor Induction.

I'm always broke, and I live in Maryland, so Commander game tickets are hard to get

I would find some way to go see Dallas at Texas Stadium II.

I hear that seeing the World Cup live is something that's on a whole other level than most sporting events. I'm not a soccer fan, but I think I'd like to experience it.

It would definetely be on my list.

I'd love to go to an event with a crazy crowd like that.

I haven't been to an OU Texas game either.

I'd really like to be in that atmosphere and root against the Sooners aka that fraud team.

I agree with this list except for 4, 6 & 7
add NBA Finals especially if the Lakers are playing and NBA All-Star Weekend. Next year it will be here in Dallas, hope to go.

I knew soccer would screw up an otherwise good thread.

:wink2:

Someone would have to pay me a lot of money to go see any soccer match and I would need to eat good and be near the exits and restrooms. I think I could safely predict I would need to pee a lot that day.

1. World Cup (this one is especially for Hos)
2. Summer Olympics-mostly for 5000 m, 10000 m and marathon
3. Stanley Cup Championship (preferably game 7)
4. Masters

You'd go in my place? Now that's a friend ladies and gents. Any man who would throw himself on that grenade is all right by me.

I'll take one for you buddy.

1. World Series
2. World Cup (watching it on TV in 2006 was awesome, and i don't know jack about soccer)

This is really about all i can come up with. The only reason the Masters isn't on my list is because I've been twice already. :D
