Best Available Day 3

Most first round TEs rarely see starting snaps, at this point in the draft, developmental projects only,, I wouldn't waste the pick at this point, we already have those developmental prospects on the roster in Rico, Blake and Swaim.
I think pass too because like I said if you feel like you need 1 for one season he'l there are 5 out there even Antonio Gates on a 1 year deal. I still believe in Rico Gathers. In 4th Round I would look Jewel.. LB or Hines RB. Probably Hines. I would try to work Seattle for a 2019 Draft pick.

Jalen Samuels hasn't been picked yet, right? He'd be great as an h-back/ TE.
Nyhiem Hines RB still out there would be a great pick.
Duke Igwiuke(sp?) FS is a plus athlete that could develop.
But my pet cat is Avery LB Memphis. He'd be a great pick as well.

Samuels is a great football player. I would love to have him. Hines is very fast and would be a good backup to Zeke. I say this as someone who hated their college team but I would like to see them in Dallas.

I want tyrell crosby or Desmond Harrison to round out our OL.
The way the draft fell this year, lots of decent OTs still available in the 4th.
Crosby still being there is surprising
Then Jamarco Jones, Harrison, Cole Madison as a fkex....

I liked the Conners pick, but hmmmm

All depends on value, but I still want the DT (settle?) and maybe a S, TE, RB, or eventually another LB or WR

Very interesting and you are right,, we could really solidify the OL considering the quality still available.
Green would be gone for sure, and this OL would be the deepest in the league by far.

Agreed. Cowboys likely need to trade up in the round to grab him. I also wouldn't mind seeing them picking up Nyheim Hines in the 4th today.

If the Cowboys take Hines he'll get a role that forces Zeke Elliott to the bench. I don't know how that makes the team better.

The homers will read that and not know whether to agree with me or not until after he's drafted.

At 116
Unfortunatley, the value seems to at OT and CB

Anyway, here are 18 without too much thought and not really in order and some will may last til later

Tim Settle, DT
Ian Thomas, TE
Ty Crosby, OT
Micah Kiser, LB
Josey Jewell, LB
Dez Harrison, OT
Holton Hill , CB
Anthony Averett, CB
Obo Okoronkwro, DE/LB
Nyheim Hines, RB
Josh Sweat , DE. (how bad is the injury?)
DeShon Elliott, S
De'Shawn Hand, DE
Marus Allen, S
Kyle Lauletta (would be hard to pass but tough call)
Daurice Fountain, WR
Eq St Brown (or maybe 2nd 4th)

Love Hurst, but sorry...not untill the 6th...maybe. Sucks

I think with the amount of snaps we're likely to give Zeke there will be opportunities for a guy like Hines to come in and contribute. I personally don't think we should feed Zeke at the volume we used him in 2016, especially if we're planning on making a deep playoff run.

A 4th rounder for Hines is not too rich IMO. He also serves as a proven KR/PR.

Mel's best available.

i

1. Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan
Hurst is good 3-technique penetrator, but his medical exam was flagged at the combine. Some teams took him off their boards.

i

2. Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana
There could be a run on tight ends soon. There are some good ones left on the board. Thomas is the best.

i

3. Luke Falk, QB, Washington State
We've seen six quarterbacks go off the board, so there haven't been any surprises. Falk is a little stiff, but he could be a good backup.

i

4. DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Penn State
Hamilton had a great pre-draft process -- he impressed me at the Senior Bowl.

i

5. Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon
Crosby could play either tackle spot, but he's inconsistent. I'm surprised he hasn't been picked.

i

6. Josh Sweat, DE, Florida State
Sweat tested off the charts at the combine, but his college tape didn't match his measurables. Where was the production?

i

7. Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State
With 27 starts at left tackle for the Buckeyes the past two seasons, I thought he'd be gone late on Day 2. Could he be a swing tackle?

i

8. Nyheim Hines, RB, NC State
My best comp for Hines? Darren Sproles. Both are diminutive backs. Hines is one of the fastest prospects in this class.

i

9. Kyle Lauletta, QB, Richmond
Is anyone going to grab McShay's guy? Arm strength is the question here, but I think he'll be gone early in the fourth round.

i

10. Jordan Lasley, WR, UCLA
There are some off-field concerns with Lasley, and his 2017 tape is inconsistent. He's extremely talented, though.

11-25
11. Jalyn Holmes, DE, Ohio State
12. Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State
13. Andrew Brown, DE, Virginia
14. RJ McIntosh, DT, Miami (Fla.)
15. Ade Aruna, DE, Tulane
16. Duke Ejiofor, DE, Wake Forest
17. Da'Shawn Hand, DL, Alabama
18. Deon Cain, WR, Clemson
19. Micah Kiser, ILB, Virginia
20. Josey Jewell, ILB, Iowa
21. Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, OLB, Oklahoma
22. Anthony Averett, CB, Alabama
23. Shaquem Griffin, OLB, Central Florida
24. Matt Pryor, OG, TCU
25. Daurice Fountain, WR, Northern Iowa

I like Hines but if Tim Settle is there in the 4th I would pick him in a heartbeat.

Mo Hurst
Cedrick Wilson
ESB
Josey Jewell
Desean Hamilton
Kyzir White
Nyheim Hines
Deshon Elliot
Tim Settle

We need to come out of this draft with a TE and Thomas would be a great selection but Settle could really impact that defense.
I would have to flip a coin.

We aren't taking Settle. I'm not saying it's the wrong move, and in fact, I'd give him serious consideration, but if we want our 1 tech to have some 3 tech qualities, that isn't Settle.

2. Ian Thomas TE Indiana
12. Nyheim Hines RB North Carolina St.
16. Da'Shawn Hand DT Alabama
47. Trenton Thompson DT Georgia

Wouldn't mind a few of these guys today

Last day picks. Give me Lazard, Hamilton, or St. Brown for receiver
Deshon Elliott at safety, Shaq Griffin, Okoronkwo, Cichy at linebacker.

Penn State guys - What's your take on Troy Apke? Blew up the combine and Mike Martz loves him.
