We have had some help on this. We could of taken Manziel in 2014 but thankfully Jerry was out voted and just think had we gotten Paxton Lynch instead of Dak. Seems most our bad picks came when the defense coordinator wanted someone. Think we should just let Will Mcclay make final decisions.

No, not bad coaching. Strong offensive play and a dominant defense worked towards. They solve problems not looking for someone to blame. Try it.

had help, you mean like Jimmy Johnson plus anybody else at Jerry's hired?? I mean Jerry is the owner the front office does the hiring so that help is that what you mean by help you mean like Jerry Jones is a good owner because he's putting the right people below him to help him make these decisions???

is that what you're saying this sounds like you want to skip over that just because Jerry said he wanted a guy doesn't mean that we're serious about getting him at all could have been just playing the public the other teams. They can play okey doke make them think they're going after a player so somebody else makes a mistake which by the way didn't Johnny Manziel get taken by a real GMA structuring that everybody wants around here didn't a bunch of bad quarterbacks be taken by other of these allegedly regular GM structured team team full of real ownership and levels of the front office structuring that everybody wants aro....allegedly regular GM structured teams?

Good job trying to skip over the fact that Jerry still makes the final decisions here and he trusts his people enough to make the right decision even though some of them turn out to be bad they're not all Jerry cause what you're saying is Jerry or the defensive coordinators make all the bad picks and Wilma clay makes all the good picks but he has no hand in the bad decisions are you serious that's what you're inferring and I don't like it Jerry still is the owner Jerry still the GM so Jerry can get credit for all the bad he gets to get credit for the good that's how it works you can't skip over that...

The defense has adapted and has good leadership that compliments game conditions on both sides. I don't look for excuses to blame. The defensive coordinator is very strong and the secondary coach is a genius.

Right because guys like kendricks they just suck really bad don't they oh wait that's just a preseason nonsense about cheap free agents even though he was also wanted and almost signed with the 49ers but because we signed him he's a bargain basement bad free agent apparently.. As if Hankins and Peters and guys like him that would have been brought into this team is actually played better than a lot of what Philadelphia has brought in over the years I realize sometimes they go after the bigger name free agents but they fill in it looks like we picked the better deals at a free agency for the ones that are left after say the first two weeks the Cowboys do a better job of finding the ones that still have some trade left on them that can contribute...

Some of this fan base will never quit just because they don't go out and go all in and put themselves at risk with the salary cap with big free agents they do do an adequate job with free agents because they're so good at drafting that they can lean on free agency after they figure out where their needs are...


I'm betting Kendricks, Phillips, Joseph, Cook, and Lawson all by years end contribute to a positive season.

If they could avoid the real clunkers they manage to throw in occasionally, or if they would sign meaningful FAs to fill the gaps, then they could be true contenders.
