Now think about diehard fans....you have to be diehard to pull for a team that has never really won anything:laugh2:
So yeah....philly fans are diehard......
The only thing this proves is that the Chiefs have a large stadium. Now, I agree that KC has great fans, but attendance figures don't mean squat. I would love for the Skins to have a stadium half the size.Gryphon;2178564 said:2. Kansas City Chiefs
When you're the sixth smallest market and have the second highest attendance average over the last decade, that speaks very loudly. Also known for having the best food at a tailgate, KC will blow your doors off with its BBQ.
Arrowhead is widely regarded as the loudest stadium in the league and that is directly attributed to its fans. What's even more amazing is that Kansas City hasn't won a playoff game since 1993 and their last Super Bowl was the same year as Woodstock. Chiefs fans are the reason their team has a home field advantage.

But you have to have Philly up there, they are rude, noisy and extremely annoying but they have a really strong and devoted fanbase.
I was there several times when their fans took over Texas Stadium in the lean years.

This fan base, which was really a bunch of band wagon jumpers during the Aikman-Irvin-Emmitt dynasty, apparently has transformed into die-hards. With fans in every city, "America's Team" is wildly popular. Simpletons flock to the star and seem to be enamored with it. Of course, the rules about cheering for a team you have no connection with is still a violation.
Thats what I am saying, we hardly have a homefield advantage. Even places like Chicago, who is ranked 9th, make a helluva lot more noise than our fans do.UVAwahoos;2179057 said:I agree about the Dallas fans. I've lived in a few places where I've met tons of supposed fans who don't know squat about the team or even care about the weekly schedule, etc.
Add that to the fact that we probably rival the Lakers for having the worst home crowd in all of professional sports, and I am happy that we made the top 10. Half cheer when we're on offense, and the stadium seems empty a lot of the times we're on defense. Hopefully this changes in the new stadium, but I just see it getting worst, as the diehard/crazy/loud fans begin getting phased out due to higher tickets prices.
I know this is going to piss off some of the people who "cheer" at the home games, but if you honestly compare our crowd to that of a team like Seattle, you'll understand the difference. Our crowd has to have one of the least effective influences on the outcome of home games in the league amongst sold out stadiums.

Dallas does not deserve #1. I'll tell you why. Yea We have tons of fans, maybe more then anyone else in the NFl but only 40% of those fans buying murchendise and what not are real fans. half the guys I talk to cant even tell me the starters on the offensive line..That is pathetic. top 5 I would say fits us because we have a crazy amount of fans...But loyalty by percentage you have to go with teams like the browns, Packers and Steelers..I see a Steeler sticker on a car and 7/10 He is a real fan...I see Cowboys stars on almost every damn car here in AZ.You know damn well half those guys are not real fans.
Atleast to me a real fan is someone who actually follows their team. Who actually cares when they lose or win, and is there when crap is gravy or shady.
