Hate to tell the author that the Bills had more than their fair share of bandwagon jumpers back in the early 90's. Growing up in Syracuse, NY you couldn't find a Bills fan if your life depended upon it. One of my favorite sports blooper clips was back in the 80's when there was practically nobody at a snow filled game. There was this one section with only three fans and nobody else within 50 yards of them and all of the sudden the three fans started to do their own crowd wave.

Then the Bills started winning and all of the sudden all of these people, who were known as fans of different teams, started cheering for the Bills.

Anyway, my friends and I used to say that 50% of the Bills fanbase were just old Giants fans who couldn't take the frustrations of being a Giants fan anymore.

And there's a difference between passion and stupidity. Eagles fans mistake getting drunk and being vile and stupid for passion. I do hear a lot of people say that Texas Stadium isn't loud enough, which I can see to a degree. But, I'm at least glad that the fans are more civil than most fans around the league.

The Bills are passionate......idiots. They get numero uno in that category. And most Eagle fans are dumb, I've found.

Before I scrolled down I would have guessed KC at #1. The people up here are very fanatic about their little sucky team. Seeing this day in and day out I will really hate the day they actually get good.
On the other hand, Philthy at #1? :laugh2:

Yeah, its gonna be interesting. I've lived in the area off an on for a few years and have seen both ends and those people do not waiver a tad.

I remember just moving back to the area before the 2004 season and all I kept hearing was how it was "their year". Everyon, fans and radio hosts were writing in the Superbowl because IIRC Gunther had just been brought back to fix that putrid defense that let them down. All you would hear about is how its Chief time and I kept asking people what players were brought in to help the D and nobody even wanted to listen. Needless to say, the Chiefs D was awful again that year and they have slid ever since.

I really wish that I won't be around here when that team gets good again. I've got a ton of crap-talk karma coming back to me when it happens.

Hmmm, an Eagles fan site picks their fans as the best in the NFL, is anyone surprised?

Most lists have the Eagles fans listed as the WORST, not the best.

I don't believe we have the best fans in the league but we aren't the worst either. Most of the bandwagoners fell off during the Campo years although we are picking up some more.

If the Eagles had ever won anything in the past 48 years they too might pick up some bandwagoners, just like the Patriots have over the last several years.

The core of Cowboys fans are for the most part pretty knowledgeable and respectful. We have a lot of reasons to be proud of our team and have confidence that we will be successful again like we have in the past.

For Eagles fans, all they have is to try and put other teams down as they have nothing of their own to han their hats on.

1960 was a long time ago Eagles fans! :trophy: :lmao2:

I agree about the Dallas fans. I've lived in a few places where I've met tons of supposed fans who don't know squat about the team or even care about the weekly schedule, etc.

Add that to the fact that we probably rival the Lakers for having the worst home crowd in all of professional sports, and I am happy that we made the top 10. Half cheer when we're on offense, and the stadium seems empty a lot of the times we're on defense. Hopefully this changes in the new stadium, but I just see it getting worst, as the diehard/crazy/loud fans begin getting phased out due to higher tickets prices.

I know this is going to piss off some of the people who "cheer" at the home games, but if you honestly compare our crowd to that of a team like Seattle, you'll understand the difference. Our crowd has to have one of the least effective influences on the outcome of home games in the league amongst sold out stadiums.

I agree, I think we have a terrible home crowd but I think one reason is corporations and scalpers buy out all the tickets then just sell them. Sometimes I wonder where all the fans went since they don't seem to go to the games

That has to be the most outrageous accusation I have ever read in my entire long life...:bang2:

Let's see. You've been a loyal fan since 1960. I'd say that makes you about as loyal as they come.

It was good for a laugh after I wiped the frown off my face.
