Which Coach will have the greatest impact on the team in 2012?
1. Bill Callahan- rebuilt O-Line with bunch of unknowns, no pedigree other than LT. Young and hungry players
2. Jerome Henderson- loaded at CB, questionable at safety
3. Mike Woicik- full offseason to implement program

I have faith in Woicik if nothing else for being at right place at right time.

The best additions were the subtractions of James, Brooking, Newman, Elam, Holland, Marty B, and Jenkins (as a starter).

Can't you read? This discussion has nothing to do with players.

Technically, Mike Woicik was hired last offseason and was with the team through the 2011 season.

Dam! Those are some serious guns on Claiborne. Can't wait to see him battle with Dez this summer.

This is one of the reasons Jerry needs to step back and fire his son. How can we attract credible coaching personel when our FO people have no crediblity throughout the league?
Coveted talent with multiple employment options will never come work for these two bozos.

Good question. All three should have a major impact. Although Henderson is probably my favorite addition, he may have the least impact simply because the talent pool has been drastically improved, so he won't have the daunting task of turning crap into caviar.

Bill Callahan wasn't given as much of an improvement over his unit as Henderson, but even still, the unit on paper is better than the previous year. Also he should have an impact on the running game and also game management by assisting Garrett in pressure situations.

I think the biggest improvement will come from Woicik. A big factor in determining a championship team is how healthy can the players be when it really matters. It is all about having players healthy and playing at a high level at the right time. Having a great conditioning program goes a long way towards achieving that. If Woicik can keep our star players healthy and performing at a high level, I have no doubt that we can hoist our 6th franchise Lombardi trophy in 2013.

Which collectively represents a purging of the roster, which isn't an addition of specific players. Capiche?

I'll go with Henderson from that group. Though I'm pretty happy with all of them.

All three of these have the potential to be HUGE moves. I think Callahan is comfy as the O Coordinator and has a rep for making huge strides. Henderson could be huge in the secondary especially with all the new talent. Woicik might be the best move of all if he increases how the boys play late in the season.

I think all three will play a positive vital role

:p: Nice

Callahan by a mile.

I've said this a few times before - A young, relatively inexperienced HC needs someone to lean on. Ideally, you have a former HC in the mix who can have input on play calling and, through his own experiences and mistakes, can help you avoid a few. More importantly, that guy needs to be someone who is not a threat to take over if things go south.

Callahan is the perfect fit for that.

It's awesome that we don't have to choose just one. They are all working for the Cowboys now.

I'm very interested to see the changes that Callahan makes to the blocking scheme. Most expect him to run much more of the Zone Blocking Scheme. If done correctly, this scheme really gives OLinemen some advantages over Defenders that a straight man blocking scheme does not provide.

I agree with that.

Excellent question. Very hard to choose between these outstanding acquisitions.

Woicik is huge. Is he the burning bush? Will every player we have maintain peak physical condition? Of course not, but what he does can not be underestimated.

Henderson and Callahan are also huge. These have been the two weakest units on the team for at least the past two seasons. Having two better coaches for them this season with all the new talent we brought in is going to be isgnificant.

Only one of the three guys impacts every player on the roster.

So the answer is Woicik.

The biggest jump should be from the poodle to Henderson, the best addition is Woicik and the most prominent role will be Callahan's.
