I agree. Henderson is benefitting from a significant upgrade in talent, so if the secondary improves, it may be difficult to gauge which had a greater effect - the coaching or the players. Callahan will have a positive effect on the line. Overall, however, both these areas, plus every other area, should be significantly improved because of Woicik.

Jason Garrett

I think the verdict is still out on Garrett. I do believe this is his year to impress. Let's see if he can keep his players hungry at the end of the season!

I think that Woicik + Jimmy Robinson will have the biggest impact. Dez and Miles should remain healthier and improve technique.

Best non-player addition?

Last year: Jason Garrett as permanent HC; Rob Ryan as DC; Mike Woicik as S&C Coach; Jimmy Robinson as our WR Coach. Arguably, in that order. All great signings at their respective positions.

This year: My favorite n-p acquisition is Jerome Henderson, even though I like that we signed Bill Callahan to succeed Hudson Houck. But I'm much more viscerally excited about Henderson, both for who he is and what he represents, as well as for who he replaced in Dave Campo.

I liked/ still like Dave Campo, the man, but as far as a Cowboys Secondary/DBs Coach ... give me Jerome Henderson all day, every day.

I expect his impact to only increase over time as these players gets years of training under him.
