Although Brady was the goat, that dink and dunk offense was the most boring crap to watch.

Give me the Lamonica, Fouts, Moon , Elway and Marino led offenses all day long to watch for sheer football entertainment.

But I'll take a Dink,Dunk&Dak offense if it will get us another ring.
I don’t know what they ran when Moss was there but that was fun to watch even though it resulted in no ring.

To your point, with some of those sorry offensive lines he had, perhaps it would have better suited him but when TO showed up you have to open up that air show to its max
That’s the thing though you don’t stop airing it out. You pick apart underneath and then hit them over the top with a Cooks or TO. There’s going to be some big shots down field it’s just gonna depend on Dak hitting them.

I agree with that. Of course when you have Lamb and Cooks you HAVE to take a shot deep now and then.

Also have to do to help the running game as well

Just got to stay efficient in the ENTIRE playoff too

I don’t think they getting help from the run game this year. Hope I’m wrong but I have a bad feeling about it.

One thing I like about implementing more WC concepts is that the WR's will be running quick/shorter routes.
Kellen Moore ran a Zampese based offense that called for longer developing routes. It really hurt Dak and the offense running that scheme because the O-line couldn't hold up all of the time waiting for those routes to develop and led to Dak getting hit or causing him to have Dlinemen right in his face when throwing.
The quicker routes will take advantage of our WR speed and hopefully result in big YAC plays.
And last but not least our rb's will get into the passing game more properly

any curls on the end of those short routes.

Moore did well with what he had.

If you are in disagreement, look at when he took over.

Even if shorter routes proves to be successful, Dak will be criticized for not going down the field. His arm strength will continue to be questioned by the haters.

Sure given that is what I started with.
Both sides can be true at the same time. And I do not know about you, but I have seen this slow developing play fail, with the defender playing off the receiver. However, when you see the defender dart in to make the stop, primarily it is a defender playing off the receiver at the line of scrimmage.

There is a pacing difference between the Cowboys tossing that naked screen, or even with another receiver for blocking, than quite a few other teams who utilize that play.

I'm not going to pretend I am intelligent enough to dissect this and offer the exact reason. But the success failure ratio leans toward fail throughout the season. Perhaps it's because they run that damn play too much.

Now I also get that using this sets up other options, which I illuminated in my reply to you. But I think back on Little Kellen Moore running this play twice in a row in a game this past season and the results was a pick six the second time and this board blew up on Dak.

Nothing will be solved here.

I'm trusting your instincts in the secondary, Two Deep.
