We know it would be less then Dak, there is now way Dalton would ask for a arm and a leg the way Dak is. Dalton knows his ticket to starting is staying affordable.

Ok. But we don’t know how much less. That’s the point. We will have to wait and see on that.

I’m a Dak fan and have supported him since his fairy tale first preseason when he stepped up for Romo. I still like the guy.

That being said - is Dak and the huge contract in the best interest of the team when improvements are needed all over the team in both lines as well as the rest of the defense.

Is Signing Dalton and going with him during the transition the better move?

Best option would be if Dak signed a reasonable contract. I would offer him the same contract that was offered before he got injured and if he wants to walk then that is how it will be. We have to plan for other options.
